Hi Matthew, I apologize that you were left with the impression that we don't know why your vehicle would not start. The short answer is that it was flooded due to poor ignition of the fuel. The borderline low compression combined with the excessively worn spark plugs caused the flooding. Our recommendation to replace the spark plugs will likely prevent this from happening for a period of time but as the compression gets worse the problem will likely return. The final bill of $257.86 included the diagnosis, spark plug replacement, diagnosis the the tire pressure sensor and sales tax.
