Wonderful experience I just finished buying my 3rd car from Toyota of Marin. This time around, I took a long time (over the course of 4 months) to look at the various opt I just finished buying my 3rd car from Toyota of Marin. This time around, I took a long time (over the course of 4 months) to look at the various options of Tacoma and Tundra options for my work truck. Very poor customer relations I purchased a used Toyota Highlander Hybrid in June from Marin Toyota. While I'm happy with the vehicle I'm not at all happy with the sales crew or th I purchased a used Toyota Highlander Hybrid in June from Marin Toyota. While I'm happy with the vehicle I'm not at all happy with the sales crew or the vehicle inspection that was done. We just took our first trip in it since our head collision in March forced us to purchase another vehicle because our Toyota 4Runner was totalled. Durring trip we discovered that one of the metal keys in the two remotes didn't work in the door or glove compartment. I tried to contact my salesperson a few times with no response back. I then contacted the original sales person and finally got a response back which was they gave us the key/remotes they were given. Because of the expence of the key($80.00) I asked if they could help us, he said no. I also asked for a copy of the used car inspection report and got no answer. It seems to me that the service department did not do a thorough inspection and when I brought that to his attention he said they have 2 different standards for used vehicle inspection's, Certified (under 8 years) and the other for older vehicle's. So I guess at this dealer if you want a complete inspection make sure you only buy certified! Also I drove over 100 miles to pick this vehicle up and it had no floor mats and was very dirty inside. More
