My daughter who lives in San Francisco is planning a move to the East Bay and she needed a car, preferring a new Toyota RAV4. I live in Hawaii. So I contacted the USAA Car Buying Service and received a cert to the East Bay and she needed a car, preferring a new Toyota RAV4. I live in Hawaii. So I contacted the USAA Car Buying Service and received a certificate from USAA with information on the price, etc. The USAA provided me with three of its "certified Toyota Dealers" within about 50 miles from my daughter's zip code. One of the dealers, Toyota Marin, immediately contacted me. It's representative, Terry Allan, its internet sales specialist, contacted me by email, as I live in Honolulu. He provided me information with specification of a specific 2011 RAV4, including the sales price. Subsequently we talked by phone on the sale, about the availability of 2010 RAV4s, financing plans, etc. I also talked to his manager, Bruce Liu, later the same day, since Terry was not in the office when I called. Bruce was also very helpful. He prepared the calculations, including the CA sales tax and other charges. The next day we made arrangement for our daughter to check out the 2011 RAV4 with her friends. My daughter said that she had a great experience meeting with Terry and I believe also Bruce. She test drove the auto and was very pleased with it. Terry and Bruce arranged it so she could pick up her new RAV4 after spending the holiday season with us. The amazing thing for me and my daughter was that we were able to quickly consummate the purchase, in a couple of days although I'm in Hawaii and they were in the Bay Area. There was no wrangling about price. Terry Allan and Bruce Liu were always straight forward, responding to all our questions and not pushy. We were very pleased to purchase an auto from them at Toyota Marin. We had a very enjoyable car buying experience with Terry and Bruce at Toyota Marin. We also believe that the USAA Car Buying Service is a great membership service. More

Since I am having trouble getting around, I first called the dealership and spoke with Miguel who amazingly and simply got all the paperwork done. Just like that, I was approved and here's what I could get for my money. Once there, I was introduced to Chris Reed. He found me just the right car, for just the right price range. It was a Corolla, but the Sport edition and it doesn't look like a grandma car!! Chris is my hero. I love the new car. I love the guys at Toyota. Now, if I could just love my back... More

On 11/15/10 I drove my mother to Toyota Marin. I got their late, about one hour before they colse. We showed up at 800pm, afther driving about one hour. We didn't have to wait for her. She was not rushing us cause they close at 900pm. We didn't feel any pressure, and we were able to take our time with the test drive. My mother was able to take her time on making her decison. We were able to get a good price on the toyota she whated. Over all a very plesant buying experience. I plain to buy my toyota there too.
