I want to commend the attention and the service I received during the process of buying this automobile led by Elizabeth Dunn. I have bought and driven several new cars since I began driving some fifty years ago when things were very different. My last three cars were Hondas, which gave me excellent service from1977 through this year. I began my search for a new automobile by naturally going back to the Honda dealership here in Marin where I bought these cars and had them serviced. I have developed a strong relationship with this company, but I decided to explore owning a hybrid vehicle because of its gas saving ability. I researched both of these cars thoroughly on the internet, Consumers’ Reports Magazine, by driving both a Honda Hybrid and a Toyota Prius, and by speaking to my many friends who have owned Priuses for several years. This process took several weeks, and my decision to buy was definitely influenced by the salesperson who took me through the process at Toyota. Elizabeth Dunn patiently and knowledgeably showed me all the features of the Prius. There have been many innovations since my last car, a 1999 Honda Accord, stick shift. This Prius is not your father’s Oldsmobile by any means! I thought my biggest problem was to learn the automatic shift, since I had driven a stick shift all my life, but this was only the beginning. Elizabeth (Beth) answered all my questions, demonstrated some of the many features (it will take me some time to learn them all). I will reserve my judgment on the car for a few months, but my satisfaction with Beth’s teaching and patience with me is boundless. I went into the dealership several times before I purchased the car, but I always came away with more confidence in myself and with the Prius. When I decided to buy, she went out of her way to get the color and the interior of the car which, I think, is one of the more rare colors. She led me through the financial process, introducing me to several people, and showing me the servicing department that seems ideal to maintain my car. It was only by chance that I had Beth as my advocate. I walked in cold one morning, and she popped up right away and took me under her wing. I am still in the learning process in this endeavor, and Beth is still willing to answer all my questions and meet with me to solve any problems I might have. I was researching online for an Eclipse and found a good candidate at Toyota of Marin. Brooke responded to my query right away and sent info on the car and my financial requests. I called the dealership and spoke with Lana who further answered my questions with out any hard sell tactics which worked real well for me. Long story short I bought the car and got the terms I wanted with no hassle or pressure. Lana kept in touch through the process and made the experience simple and painless. Lana and Brooke delivered the car to me and the paperwork was done in no time. The last time i went to a dealership I was there for almost 4 hrs. This whole process was less than 1 hour. Lana explained all the documents quickly and simply for me. This whole buying process was quick and easy and the ladies were great to work with. i will have no problem referring them to anyone. More

I needed to trade in my 2005 Mini Cooper ASAP. I spoke to John by phone as I was "interviewing" dealers and he told me about their "no haggle" policy and that they would buy my car whether or not I bought on John by phone as I was "interviewing" dealers and he told me about their "no haggle" policy and that they would buy my car whether or not I bought one from them. I drove up there a few days later and I instantly liked him and the other people that worked there. Everyone was a) very friendly and b) NOT PUSHY. The price you see on their cars is the price you get, period. Nobody had a hidden agenda. I left there with a beautiful 2009 Toyota Corolla. It was hands-down the most pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had. John isn't what you expect a car salesman to be... He was as cool and laid back as anyone I've ever met, and at the end of our day together, there were hugs all around. I highly recommend him and the dealership. More

My visit was an unanticipated pleasure. Each employee, from Dan who answered my call seeking a service appointment, to Max who greeted me when I drove up, and each person I encountered after them was deli from Dan who answered my call seeking a service appointment, to Max who greeted me when I drove up, and each person I encountered after them was delightful. The work was done quickly and effectively. The waiting room was comfortable and stocked with snacks. My car was freshly washed and waiting for me when I checked out. The work was performed under my prepaid service plan. It was a simply wonderful experience. More
Our Prius (purchased at another dealer in 2009) had a rare (?) serious electronic problem. Under dash console wiring harness (?). This caused the car to not be able to shut the engine off. Lex Sinclaire and team diagnosted quickly and sent me on my way with a comp rental car; a brand new Prius. Lex knew in would take several weeks for the necessary part to come in. Kept car for 6 weeks until it came in. No charge. Since every European car that I've owned eventually had some serious intermittent electrical problem, I'm very sensitive to this issue. The follow up and professionalism of Toyota Marin and the Corporate "extended warrantee" on this issue made me a Toyota fan for life. Yes, I will likely buy a new car soon and odds are 98% that it will be a Toyota from Toyota Marin. Thanks, Dave W. More
At our scheduked meeting time, Ryan was prompt, up front with the price and got me the car that I wanted. He did not try to talk me into anything that i didn't need or want and although i am not a frequent with the price and got me the car that I wanted. I always have my car serviced at Toyota of Marin. Not only is it a great location, but the staff is friendly and professional. I especially recommend Jason Clark. Jason not only made sure that my car was in good condition and had it washed after service, but went the extra mile for me by having the car vacuumed. My car was very clean when I drove home from service; I was impressed! More
