I decided to call about it and I was fortunate to Sales Rep Wayland Whisler on the lin I had been eyeing a used car at Toyota Marin for a few weeks. I decided to call about it and I was fortunate to Sales Rep Wayland Whisler on the line. I asked him to give me an honest description of the used car (sometime pictures don't tell the true story). Wayland went out to the lot and talk me through a complete description of the vehicle pointing out the smallest of details. I really appreciated his honest tone and manner. I decided to come the dealership where I met Wayland. The car was exactly as Wayland had described it. We took the car for a test drive. Great experience. I was still not prepared to buy that day. NO PRESSURE. Wayland did call to let me know if the car was still available. I did come back and buy from Toyota Marin. bought a good car...but I think it was the sales experience from Wayland that sealed the deal. More

None of this would have been possible if I didn’t have the privilege of wor This Saturday I had the pleasure of finding my dream car at Toyota Marin. None of this would have been possible if I didn’t have the privilege of working with Wayland. I was hesitant the day before and did a lot of the legwork before I came in, which I am sure was a hassle for him… but he was nothing but gracious, kind, patient and extremely helpful. He made me so excited to drive down and find the car that was right for me. I could tell he is very experienced in his trade, as he picked up on what he knew would be best for me and helped me through my infamous indecisiveness. Weighing my options, having them on paper for me, making sure I knew the background and details about each vehicle.. I have never felt more secure with my car purchase. He has a wonderful disposition, great sense of humor and made me feel immediately at ease. There was no pressure or pushiness. When it was time to drive home in my new car, that he had detailed for me and even switched my car seat for me ( awesome ) , I was a little sad to say goodbye. We had such a fun day. On my way to the dealership, I was prepared mentally for the obnoxious and pushy attitudes of the salesmen, but it was a totally different experience On my way to the dealership, I was prepared mentally for the obnoxious and pushy attitudes of the salesmen, but it was a totally different experience when I got there (compared to other Toyota dealers)! My brother and I were greeted pleasantly by Mr. Wayland Whisler. Though he seemed quite busy, he took the time to walk us through everything and answered all questions. He was friendly, easy to chat with and not pushy or just there trying to make a sale. First time in my life that a Toyota salesperson went on a test drive with us without scanning my dl but just making sure I have it with me. Other two dealerships I know are BMW and Mercedes only! Throughout the whole process, TM made sure customer service was their top priority! Loved it when salesmen try to work with their customers rather than the other way around!!! More

Great buying experience As a woman I wanted to just shop at different dealerships to find one I wanted to deal with. My two previous experiences were negative in that I found As a woman I wanted to just shop at different dealerships to find one I wanted to deal with. My two previous experiences were negative in that I found the sales person very pushy and aggressive toward me. The second I found the person very dismissive as though I wasn't a serious buyer. I went home and went online to direct sales and received a call from Ren Briones only to find he was at the closest dealership to my home. I went down that day and bought my Toyota Highlander. It was a very pleasant experience-no pressure and I thought Ren was very upfront and honest. After I signed papers, Ren followed me out to my home so my husband, who was recuperating from surgery, could also sign When the exact car that I wanted was delivered, Ren spent two hours with me to show me the operation of all of the gadgets.....and it was his day off!!! Now that is service. I also went back to get help with entune, and again Ren spent over 45minutes to get me connected .I felt like my problems really mattered to him.
