I scheduled an appointment for Toyota of Knoxville to perform recall service on my vehicle. When I called to schedule my appointment I was told by service department that it would take two hours to perfo perform recall service on my vehicle. When I called to schedule my appointment I was told by service department that it would take two hours to perform repair (service recall letter stated 1.5 hrs) so their estimate was reasonable. When I dropped off my vehicle at 9:00am service agent asked what time did need my vehicle back. To make sure I allowed them plenty of time I told them 1pm which would be 4 hours or double the time they quoted me to complete the repair. I finally called them after 7 hours person I spoke with stated they would have my service agent call me right back. They finally called back half an hour later and told me my vehicle was ready. When I asked why it took so long I was not given an answer just that they were sorry. I contacted them on their website to express my frustration with my experience with the service department. A representative was responsive and called back with 2hrs of my submittal, but stated she was sales and provided me with name and number of individual in service department to call. When I called the person did not pick up and the phone system informed me that "the individual is not available and I would need to call back later". I did not provide the option to leave a message. I called back was told I would be transferred to another service manager but the transfer went back to main switchboard, I was left with the impression that they really did not care and did not want to speak with me. Amazing!!! Michael Haun goes above and beyond for the customers and is super knowledgeable. When I had a minor issue with my advisor he handled my issue immediately! Very deceptive involving a minor repair. In had a nail in a tire. Gary Hughes insisted I bring it to this dealership to protect my new car warranty. I told him I live 1 1/2 hours away. I dealt with a v in a tire. Gary Hughes insisted I bring it to this dealership to protect my new car warranty. I told him I live 1 1/2 hours away. I dealt with a very cold attitude at the dealership from Mr. Hughes. Long story short, I do not feel that I can trust this dealership to be honest with my future repairs. Very deceptive in not telling me my tire was under warranty with the tire manufacturer & should find a local tire service to repair tire. More

Service dept has no clue what they are doing but are great at trying to make extra money. Parents brought in their car they purchased there due to transmission issues. Service claimed nothing wrong and great at trying to make extra money. Parents brought in their car they purchased there due to transmission issues. Service claimed nothing wrong and coerced them into a transmission flush at a ridiculous price and then tried to overcharge them when time to pay. By the way, the transmission crapped out on their way home and could have caused a wreck. Don't trust them and go somewhere else. More
My car is still under warranty and I started hearing a popping sound and my wiper fluid also isn't coming out, so they diagnosed it. He told us that he talked to Jason Carson and they would pay to fix it. He said they would call us when the parts come in. This was on 11-24-2020. I have called multiple times since then and they will not return my calls and when I spoke to someone they said they don't know why the parts have not been ordered but they would find out and return our call.. I am convinced that they just do not want to pay to fix it. Also I have had my oil changed here several times and it has taken 2 hours each time to have a simple oil change on a car. Their customer service is not good .I'm very dissatisfied with my overall experience. More
