Terrible! No explanation ahead of time that they don’t have a shuttle service. A Lyft driver was called and picked me up. He was bitter and complained the entire drive that he would get paid $3 and no tip have a shuttle service. A Lyft driver was called and picked me up. He was bitter and complained the entire drive that he would get paid $3 and no tip to drive me and that most drivers will cancel. I ended up tipping the driver $10. When trying to get back to the dealership multiple drivers cancelled. I felt like I was going to be stranded there, then felt guilty the whole way back after a driver finally picked me up. I had no more money to tip. I was in tears by the time I got back to the dealership. They Took 4 1/2 hours with an appointment to change my front brakes. I Explained everything to Christina Nelson (Service Director) who offered the worst customer service ever I was in tears and she sat there cold as a fish with her monotonous response being; we don’t offer a shuttle service and Lyft is a courtesy, like the dealership had done me a favor. I want the dealership to know that we will not service our cars at Toyota of Escondido thanks to Christina Nelson and their lousy policy of using Lyft instead of offering a shuttle. More
I worked in the service automotive industry for 4 years and I understand things can get very overwhelming, really quick and it’s not always one persons fault but to have their customers waiting 3 hours for and I understand things can get very overwhelming, really quick and it’s not always one persons fault but to have their customers waiting 3 hours for a simple tire rotation and inspection is a little ridiculous if you ask me. I’m not here to ruin the advisors or techs but something needs to be done at least in regards to scheduling as well as manpower to get jobs done more efficiently. More
Great service...however some issues about my vehicle (Tundra 2020) that I bought at TE can't be fixed due to deal I didn't know or understand. Dealer replace a good Prius shifter and charged over $900. Very next day car still would go into neutral when driving...even on freeway! When drove over 1 hour back to dealer to have undone and really f $900. Very next day car still would go into neutral when driving...even on freeway! When drove over 1 hour back to dealer to have undone and really fix, they could not duplicate problem, so would not reverse the worthless fix nor refund the charge. Now it again jumps to neutral! But I now 8 hours from Escondido! Hope in Sacramento can fix and Toyota pay dealer. At least N/C on 2nd visit. And comp loaner car. More
