After recently buying a car from them, I highly recommend Motorcars in Cleveland Heights and in particular Ken Mack. I was looking for a 2002 Toyota 4Runner -- only car my daughter wanted. So I set out to find a relatively low mileage vehicle. I couldn't find anything local. Went online and found a likely candidate at Motorcars, 8 hours from Virginia. Derek and Mike helped me get comfortable with the car, e.g. checked out the car personally and reported back observations; get comfortable with options for getting the car to Virginia. I was concerned about flying to Cleveland in January, but the weather cooperated. Mike met me at the airport and took me to the dealership. I drove the car home. So far, so good! The price was good. Simple pricing. The advertised price is the price. But there were lots of cars online that didn't appear as nice as this one for more money. Update: Car failed inspection in Virginia on multiple counts. Motorcars unwilling to work with me on fixing the problem. Claimed they sold the car as a "parts vehicle". Not the way I bought it -- price wasn't that good. If you can have a mechanic check out the car ahead of time, good. Otherwise, do NOT buy from them over the Internet! More
In the market for a new car and having driven a 99 Camry for over a decade, I naturally made Motorcars my first stop in beginning to look for a new vehicle. My Camry had a good life and served me well as a car I always knew I could rely on. In looking for a new car, I wanted to upgrade a bit and get one with a few more bells and whistles, like leather seats, a sunroof etc. I came to Motorcars and met Cornelius Stokes. He was friendly and quite helpful. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and walked through the lot with me to show me the differently models and color options. He then took me on a test drive in the new 2012 Camry. Driving it was like floating on a cloud, so smooth with an engine that I could hardly hear. I liked all the options on the dash, including the touchscreen. However, I quickly learned that to get the model that had the extras I was looking for was out of my price range. I decided to look at some other cars and see how they would compare. Cornelius gave me his card, and answered all of my questions. My next stop was Nissan. As soon as I walked in the door 10 people pounced on me. I test drove the Altima and liked it, but knew right away that the way it drove didn’t even compare to the Camry. When I told the sales person this, they gave me an offer which was a better deal that what I was offered at Motorcars. They would give me the top of the line Altima, with all the extras, leather seats, sunroof, heated seats, voice activated Bluetooth etc, for cheaper than what I would pay for a Camry LE. They said the deal was a no brainer….I should obviously take the Altima. I loved all the extras, but couldn’t let go of the fact that I just felt more comfortable in the Camry. I went back to Motorcars to drive the Camry again as was welcomed as soon as I walked in. The second I sat in the car I loved it (again!). But I wasn’t sure if I could give up a good deal as Nissan gave me. So I went back to Nissan and test drove the Altima again. The salesman and his manager met with me, and tried to keep me in the store. I felt too pressured so I left, and told them I would think about it. I happened to have received a voicemail for Cornelius that day letting me know that if he had any questions, I can call him. I appreciated that I had him as a resource, but that he respected me space. While I still was unsure if I would get the Camry, I decided that I didn’t want the Altima. Because the salesmen spent so much time with me, I sent him an email letting him know my decision. He called me twice and tried to persuade me to change my mind, and it was difficult to end the conversation. Next, I decided to drive a 2012 Honda EXL, also with Motorcars. The sales woman was nice and helpful, and also gave me a good deal. I would get the extras….leather and sunroof etc, for about what I would pay for the Camry LE. However, the Honda just didn’t compare to the new Camry. I came back to Cornelius who was happy to help me, even though I did not have an appointment. He answered all of my questions, and I never felt rushed when working with him. I appreciated the fact that despite this being the 3rd time I had returned to the dealership, everyone continued to give me the time I needed. While the Camry I was able to afford didn’t have the extras I would have liked, I realized that there is just no comparison to the Honda or Nissan when driving. I was informed that I can always add the extras to the Camry at a later date if I decided to do so. I was happy to give my business to Motorcars because of the approachable; pressure free atmosphere that Cornelius and the rest of the employees created. Once I happily decided to lease the Camry, Cornelius was able to prepare all the paperwork. He was even kind enough to drive me to return the car that I had driven to the dealership to my waiting family member. Cornelius took the time to sit with me in the car and make sure I knew how everything worked. He helped me program my phone into the car, and let me know what books would be helpful for me to read. He even buffed my car one last time before I left! I appreciated the fact that I never felt pressured, he was always available to answer any questions and took the time to take care of me. I will recommend him (and the Camry!) to those I know in the market for a car! Thanks Cornelius! I LOVE my new Camry!! More

Overall, I had a very positive experience working with Earl Hanley at Motorcars. Customer service and friendliness were of extremely high quality. The reason I gave a "4" for "quality of work" and "price" was because the vehicle that was delivered had some "extras" that we had not discussed ahead of time and ended up costing me a bit more money. I don't see that Orlando Martinez is listed on the review board but I have to say that he was wonderful! He was very professional and took the time to explain what was needed. Things seem to be a bit crazy board but I have to say that he was wonderful! He was very professional and took the time to explain what was needed. Things seem to be a bit crazy due to the construction but he made me feel comfortable and kept me informed. He took the time to answer all my questions and actually thanked me for my time which is a first at Motorcars. I came in for an oil change and spent almost $1000 and left as a very happy customer.
