First of all, the carefully curated selection. of automobiles is second to none if you are a car enthusiast. The staff are “car guys” who know and understand what you need and don’t waste time trying to sell you stuff you don’t want. I experienced no pressure from my sales guy, Greg. Greg, with the help of Zach, in finance, made my buying experience quick and painless. I got a great deal on the exact car I had been looking for. Shopping at The Toy Barn is not the typical car lot experience with overbearing sales people either annoying you or ignoring you. Greg was atentative and helpful without being overbearing and Zach made the, usually painful and drawn out, paperwork process quick and we both had a few laughs. I should also mention that they stayed late to accommodate my schedule, but I never felt rushed. I’m proud to be a Toy Barn customer and look forward to buying from them again. Call Greg now!! More

Honestly, they are a car dealership that will screw the client any way they can. They told to me from the start that they didn't offer any sort of warranty (where I'm from all dealerships have a 30 day warranty at the very least on every vehicle they sell), but that they "take care of their clientele" and that they wouldn't "have the reputation they had if they weren't honest and good to their clients". Naturally, I knew they were full of crap so I bought an aftermarket warranty, thank god, but I'm here to say that as an out of state buyer, they were honest, they don't have a warranty, but also completely dishonest in the condition of the vehicle, and they most definitely DO NOT "take care of their clients" once the sale ends, or for that matter before the sale ends. We drove 5 hours to the dealership just for them to immediately drop the price we agreed upon by $1500 becuase the vehicle condition was completely misrepresented, and they knew it. Their detail department is a joke and couldn't even manage to clean out the cupholders or the engine bay (I pulled dog hair out of the cupholders and leaves out of the engine bay while I was looking at it and pointed it out to the salesman who apologized and said he would have it run back through detail while we did the paperwork). We agreed to pay sticker price on a cadillac escalade and I made sure to specifically ask that there was nothing wrong with it before driving up there. I was assured that there was "no leaks, mechanical, safety, or suspension issues" (you can see the text where the salesman tells me that ver batim), however, the minute I get the vehicle home and take it for an oil change, that the salesman paid for out of his own pocket because the dealership apparently doesn't ensure an oil change unless it NEEDS it before they sell it (this was at 25% oil life when we got there), the dealership in WV told me that the vehicle needed struts (an obvious suspension issue). When I asked the dealership here in WV how long the vehicle needed struts, they stated it had to have been longer than the 9 days since the vehicle had been in my possession because they were severly worn down. Then I contacted Toy Barn about the issue and if they would cover even part of the cost to repair since not only the dealership but a second mechanic also verified that the struts had needed replaced since before I had purchased the vehicle, the salesman tried putting it off on the warranty I bought, then went to the age old, we-take-care-of-our-customers tactic of ignoring me completely. Oh so professional, guys. Long story short, if you're out of state, DO NOT BUY from these guys unless you purchase a warrranty and are willing to cover every issue they missed. They will ignore you just like all the other posts on here say. They will promise to be good to you, then go back on their word in a heart beat. This is a common dealership problem that I might have expected from the low end, sleezy dealerships but not from a higher end looking place. This place is, in fact, just as sleezy as any, just dressed better. Beautiful location, showroom was immaculate and well designed, but you can put lipstick on a pig all you want, won't do you any good. More

The sales manager, Marcus, said they could discount the vehicle hundreds but not thousands of dollars and they could split delivery cost with me. I asked him about the condition of the tires and any maintenance needs to see if the total cost was attainable. The attached screen shots capture out text communication from that point forward. Long story short - I had a friend who lives an hour away drive out to look at the car as I thought we were close enough on price to have an in-person evaluation prior to purchase. After my friend looked at the car Marcus said the price of the car increased $1,000 due to an 'upward shift' in the market. If you have time to waste with an unethical dealership Toy Barn is for you; if not, consider taking your business elsewhere. More
