Absolute worst dealership I have ever been to in my life!!!!! I leased my 2010 toyota corolla from here back in 2009 and now the lease is up and I wanted to buy out my lease. So on Friday 8/3 I go in and fill out my credit app and after sitting there for over an hour they tell me the computers are down and they can't help me at all and to come back on Monday. So Monday comes and I get 2 phone calls from the dealer ship confirming my appointment with finance for 6:45. So I get there and they tell me that they could not help me again because there were 3 people already in front of me buying new cars and they would have no time to help me because they close a 9. That is crazy but if I was there buying a brand new car and showed up at 830 do you think that they would tell me to come back because there are to busy, I think not. I feel like i was treated very badly at this dealership and I will never come back to them ever again. I work for a car dealership and we would never treat any of our customers like the was I was treated from this place, worst experience I have ever had in my life. More

I was not satisfyed with the service department after 3 repeated visits. I recived my vehicle back with NEW issues that were introduced by the extensive recall repair by towne toyota. After they had my vehicle for 10 days my Check engine light came on two days after they returned it to me, spare tire came loose, they broke my U-Joint and proceeded to tell me it was my fault and then tried to sell me an entire new driveline for $1500. I took it to my local shop they replaced the U-Joint for $120. BIG Rip Off!!! They also charged me over $600 in unauthorized repairs. My Battery went dead too. Marty the tech told me two weeks after they had retured the vehicle that they could not keep a charge on my battery. The next week my battey was dead. I found out they shorted out part of my Alpine Audio Navigation system and never told me about it. I was insulted and humiliated by Micael Elston and was told that NOTHING would make me happy by Eric Dix after all this happened. They got paid over $10,000 for this recall repair paid for by toyota and promised my vehicle would be in better shape than when i gave it to them. All I wanted was the vehicle back fromn the recal as good as it was when I gave it to them. It wasn't!!!I have contacted Toyta corporate and have a case implimrnted regarding the Extreamly poor service department. DO Not Go to this Toyota Dealer. They also own toyota of Morristown and every other car dealer named TOWNE. All in all the FREE repair has cost me almost $2000. Thanks Towne Toyota,Moving Forward??? Seriously! More

I placed a deposit on a certified used Toyota and the day I was going to pick up the car, I was told "something happened to it". At first, when I asked for more information, I was told it was "in an accident I was going to pick up the car, I was told "something happened to it". At first, when I asked for more information, I was told it was "in an accident" and at the body shop. When I said I needed to see the car and would go to the body shop, I was told that they sold it. I talked with the Finance Manager two or three nights before I was supposed to pickup the car. He did not even know that the car was already sold. Mistakes can happen, but lying to a customer is not acceptable! The car was sold a week before I was supposed to pick it up. Also, I had to contact my credit card company to get my deposit refunded even thought I had a written receipt saying the deposit was being refunded. More
This is the second time that we have gone here looking to buy a car and have had an issue with them. Several years we saw an suv advertised and called them up. They said it was available and we drove over there. When we got there, the salesman said that he made a mistake and tried to sell us a much higher priced suv. We said no thanks and left. We decided to give them a second chance when we were looking for a new car for my wife. Maybe we had a bad salesman the first time. Things like that happen. When we got there, the salesman blew us off. Instead of helping us and giving us information about the car we wanted he curtly told us to look at some cars outside and walked away. David Durnal was very friendly, courteous, and honest in his part in handling the rust recall issue on my Tundra. The "repair" work which was authorized on my vehicle was done promptly- upon return my truc his part in handling the rust recall issue on my Tundra. Although I have further rust-related repair issues required on my Tundra which I will pursue with Toyota Customer Service my overall experience with Towne Toyota was great. J. Cernek More
My car didn't start one morning & it was stuck at my house the guys at Towne not only came out to see what was wrong but they picked me up at my job. They ended up getting it started, followed me back t house the guys at Towne not only came out to see what was wrong but they picked me up at my job. They ended up getting it started, followed me back to the dealership to ensure everything was fine, and washed,waxed and vacuumed the car!! They were amazing in customer service standards, they went above and beyond but made it seem like it was no big deal. This of course made it a bigger deal to me! I run my own retail store & I made sure I shared this story on my district conference call the next day. You have made me a customer for life!! More
We purchased a 2012 Toyota Camry from Towne Toyota in Ledgewood for so many reasons. Spencer was the first reason! Having a 25 + year career as a Sales Manager, I am quite critical about the sales and Ledgewood for so many reasons. Spencer was the first reason! Having a 25 + year career as a Sales Manager, I am quite critical about the sales and customer service reps that I deal with on a regular basis in any purchases--especially when it comes to a new car purchase. Well, I don't even know where to begin with Spencer. Short of wanting to steal him away from Towne Toyota and hire him myself, I can only offer my highest praise and thanks to one of the best sales/customer service reps that I EVER had the pleasure of dealing with! Spencer's professionalism, knowledge, warmth, enthusiasm and welcoming mannerisms go above and beyond what my family and I ever expected. We had already visited other dealers when we began our search for a more gas-friendly vehicle, and we had narrowed it down to a Camry. We were ready to make the purchase, but we wanted to get the best price for the vehicle that we chose. Not only did we get the BEST price for the 2012 Camry, but we got the BEST treatment from Spencer that we ever got on any of our past vehicle purchases throughout the years. Spencer's confidence in addition to all of his other wonderful qualities really convinced us that we were making the best choice possible as far as car dealers are concerned. We had such a "great time" buying our car which is actually a pretty stressful move since it is such a major purchase. Our children were even overwhelmed with Spencer's kindness and his "special treatment" of delivering the best hot chocolate to them that they ever had! They were so happy with our entire experience that they actually said that they want to buy their own cars from Spencer when the time comes (even though they are only 9 and 11 years old right now)! I can just go on and on forever, but all I want to say again is that this is the absolute best decision we have made in a VERY LONG TIME! We are also going to be purchasing a Sienna van in the near future, and we cannot wait until that time comes so we have the pleasure of dealing with Spencer and the other wonderful employees at Towne Toyota again. Frank was also a true pleasure to work with on the financial end, and he, too, provided the type of assistance that is extremely difficult to come by these days. It seemed that everyone who works at Towne Toyota was very willing to pitch in any way they could to help make our experience fabulous. Our perfect rating of all 5's is more well deserved here than any ratings I've ever given in a survey! Again, we just want to say thank you for the great experience and treatment and for the beautiful Camry that we are truly enjoying now because of you, Spencer!!!! Thanks again, and see you real soon!
