Came from Morristown to Towne Toyota in Ledgewood I was recommended to Towne Toyota after being very unhappy with the dealership close to my home. I was returning my 4th Toyota lease for a new one. I have paid all my lease payments on time or even early and been very loyal to the brand (owned Toyotas for 35 years except one time I cheated with a Honda CRV). Fred Dargenio was assigned to me and after hearing what I was looking for, thought outside the box and presented me with a choice of vehicle to lease I would never have thought of. Being a top broker, I have plenty of sales experience and appreciated the fact that I wasn't spoken to in either a condescending manner or as someone without choices. I almost couldn't believe how fortunate I was to walk out of the dealership with the Rav 4 at a lease cost that was under my budget a bit. Also, I didn't have to wait hours with my keys held hostage while Fred spoke to his manager like I have at another dealership. This is my fifth Toyota lease and to be honest, if it didn't work I was done with the brand. Although I love Toyota, I felt very unappreciated as a customer before I went to Towne Toyota. Fred's manager (forgot his name) made it a point to come over to me and say he didn't want me to lose faith in the brand. So here I am, with a 2014 Rav 4 and happy as a clam. Although I loved my Scion, the Rav 4 has the voice commands to make calls and text messages which is totally safer for my teenager and for me. And the rear view camera gives me the extra security I need when backing up. It would be perfect if I had a sun roof but you can't have everything! LOL Thanks Fred and staff for making me feel like my business is important. More

Car service is rarely inexpensive and it can be stressful finding things that you didn't expect needing repair, however dealing with an honest and thorough service department is so much better than having unnoticed deficiencies fail at inopportune times in unfamiliar territories. I would not recommend anyone to go there. 1/20/15 I have just got more information to share here. I think these guys are sitting there to charge us any any fee they want without clarifying it. They charged me X money for registration and told that this is DMV fee and we are charging more because we do not know how much it would cost. I was told that any extra money will be returned to you but now after 4 months what i got back is 32 $ and they said rest of the 300$ are service fee which is more then the registration fee .. wow. what a joke.. First of all i have been told that it is DMV registration fee and secondly why this charges were not explained and mentioned in contract? I don't mind paying for service received as long as i know how much i am paying because then I can decide whether i want that service or not. You charged me 300$ for service that is not worth of even 10$. I got my plates in 2 months and title is still not received by Toyota because the form was not filled properly and the lean holder address was missing. My worst ever decision to Buy car from Towne Toyota. More
