This place is AMAZING!!! I am absolutely AMAZED they are still open!!! I would like to share my experience with others so they can travel to another Nissan dealer where they can get proper Nissan Customer still open!!! I would like to share my experience with others so they can travel to another Nissan dealer where they can get proper Nissan Customer service. We had been researching a certain Nissan Truck (Frontier Pro-4X) and due to limited supply finally found just the right one at this dealership. On the phone and during negotiations, my salesman (Jordan) was very helpful. Once we had agreed on a price (cash deal), that's where the "helpful" ended. We had to travel 3.5 hours to this dealership, so after a long drive, we told our salesman we would be arriving at 3:30 - 4:00pm on friday afternoon. That was our first mistake! We arrived at 3:40 to find that our salesman had gone out to eat and would be back soon. After 10 more minutes, a gentleman pulled up at front and entered the main showroom front doors, where we were standing. He looked at us and then turned to walk to his desk. After several steps, he turned and pointed at us and said, "Frontier"? We replied, "Yes, from Abilene". He then walked over to his desk and sat down. There were no welcomes or introductions. We just stood there! Then he motioned for us to come sit at his desk. He then proceeded to tell us about the wonderful crab he had just had for lunch and continually "primped" his outfit as if he were going out somewhere (it was friday evening). He finally said, he was "Jordan", but didn't ask us our names, just would guess who was who I figure?? He printed out some paperwork and began placed it on the desk to be signed by "Nick", who would be the actual purchaser. I had done all the negotiations on the phone to help my friend out. Jordan then took us outside, showed us the truck, handed Nick the keys and said he would finish some paperwork while we "test drove" the vehicle. We completed the "test drive" and returned to the dealership. We had noticed two strange clamps located inside the bed of the truck which were not of Nissan and when we asked Jordan about them, his response was, "I'm not sure what they really are, but may be some latches for a previous tonneau cover or something? No offer to find out was made. We returned inside. Since they were involved in the paperwork, I told Jordan that I needed to visit the parts department, as I needed some things for my vehicle. By coincidence, I own the exact same Truck as we were about to purchase. I asked Jordan if the parts department was still open? His reply was that he was not sure, so best I hurry over there in case it was closing soon. No offer to call them first, Of course the parts department was located in the next building (new car sales) and required a short drive. I went over and found them open. I managed to walk into their showroom and over to the parts area and not be greeted or assisted in any way. I've never walked through a showroom and not been approached by a salesman or management of some kind??? After visiting parts, I again walked through the showroom....nothing! I drove back over to the used cars building. Arriving there, Jordan and Nick were just leaving to go to the finance department (back at the new car sales building) and Jordan asked me to drive over there in my truck and he would be accompanying Nick in the new truck. Very strange that I was not invited to accompany them? Nick and I waited in finance for approximately 35-40 minutes and finally were called to that office. The finance man was cordial and tried to strike up a conversation, etc. To save time , as we still had a 3.5 hour drive back home, I politely told him that we could dispense with all of the product sales, as we only wanted the truck and nothing more. Our finance man explained that it was policy to offer all products and required by the management. We listened to each pitch and then told him we would purchase nothing more than the truck. He quickly shortened our session. Whew!! I asked him whether it was policy (as it is at several other dealerships) that no one leaves until all customers have left! His response was, "It should be...., but not here". Usually, I'm the only one left. Once the boss leaves, this place empties! That statement spoke a thousand words to me. We finally finished with finance and drove back over to the used car building. Jordan was gone, but quickly returned once paged. He printed out our paper tags and then accompanied us outside. Jordan placed the paper tag on Nick's truck. Funny, but he made no effort to explain any of the truck features to Nick and certainly didn't explain any of the controls or radio capabilities? Nick then noticed that the plastic mounting bracket that attaches to the front bumper and allows for the new plate to be attached was missing on his vehicle? Jordan's response was, "Well, I don't know what to say about that"? Finally, Jordan said, "Why not ask Chris your questions....he owns the same truck as you and should be able to answer all of your questions". He then wished us a pleasant ride home and left. I have never been to a dealership where the floor manager/sales manager did not come out of his glass office at the end of the showroom and personally thank you for shopping his dealership.....until now. In fact, the "Big Boys" remained in their glass office the entire time we were there and never waved or made any attempt to meet us?? I have purchased or helped purchase at least 50 vehicles for friends neighbors and employees in the past ten years and have never seen a place like Town North Nissan! In my experience, HOW GOES THE MANAGEMENT, SO GO THE EMPLOYEES! Boy, did they prove this to be true! I'd like to rant and rave and swear that I'll never shop at Nissan again, but that's simply not true. I love the Nissan product and have owned them and assisted others in purchasing them for the past 10 years. I will continue to buy Nissan because it's a wonderful product. The failures of Town North Nissan If you're looking for a vehicle....this might be the place to go! If you're looking for friendly service...you're in the wrong place! If you're looking to be treated professionally, you're in the wrong place! If you're expecting to be welcomed with true enthusiasm and appreciated for bringing your business here....you're in the wrong place! If you have a question, figure it out for yourself! FINALLY, If you can find your Nissan vehicle at any other dealership...you're making a wisest decision of your life!! More
THESE GUYS ARE LIARS. Just bought a car yesterday on a Saturday. Their website, Autotrader, and Carfax report all reference a 2017 Toyota Rav4 Platinum. The model they sold me is a Rav4 Limited (a lower trim). I was negotiating based on the higher trim. Even the salesman who sold me the car, Timothy, mentioned that this was "Only 1 of 3 Platinums in the area." This is called Bait and Switch. They get you into the dealership by advertising a higher trim, but sell you a lower trim. Next, anytime they mentioned anything regarding credit, I told them NOT to run my credit, because I already had financing in place. Everyone involved including their finance guy said that they would not make a hard pull. Guess what. Town North Nissan did pull my credit, because I get a notification as soon as there is an inquiry, "A new inquiry from ODE/TOWN NORTH NISSAN has shown up on your TransUnion credit report." Also, I walked into the dealership at 2pm and walked out at 9pm, because they make you wait that long. When I first walked into the dealership, nobody approached me and there is nobody there to greet you. I sat down and there were a few salesmen standing around, but they still don't acknowledge you unless you walk up to one of them. There isn't even a sign in sheet or ticketing system so you know you are waiting in a line. Finally, I was told that my car would be detailed while I waited several hours for the signing process. The car interior was just as dirty when I drove the vehicle home as it was when I got there. They did not do a thing to clean the interior. Now I will have to pay out of pocket to have the car professionally detailed. Do not set foot in Town North Nissan. This dealership deserves to fail. There are better options out there besides this place. More
So my parents are very humble Latino people. They don't know too much about dealerships and making sure that there not taking advantage of. So they took there preowned Nissan cuz the steering wheel was ma know too much about dealerships and making sure that there not taking advantage of. So they took there preowned Nissan cuz the steering wheel was making a himming noise.. they said they were gonna cleaned it out all out and get rid if the noise.. charged them 150 dollars.. I get too looking at it.. clearly shows a dry spot of wd40.. 4 hours later the humming noise come back.. so we take it back to tell em that we know ya didn't do nothin but sprayed some kinda lubricant on it.. 150 dollars for a can you pay 3 dollar for .and squeeze 3 or 4 times.. we took it back to tell em.. there answer was this happens to this vehicle's that noise is common.. we have 2 of the same vehicles same year both.. and the other ain't making that noise.. and plus if it can't be fixed or is normal.. WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO CHARGE 150 DOLLARS FOR NotHING YOU DID. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE.. IF U TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE MAKE SURE U KNOW OR HAVE SONEONE THAT KNOWS. Please read this review; this will help you a lot not to get to the issues I got into on a brand new car. wish I could give zero star. Used to love Nissan. But my last lease experience which was just a mo get to the issues I got into on a brand new car. wish I could give zero star. Used to love Nissan. But my last lease experience which was just a month ago at Town North Nissan has made me to hate Nissan and don’t be a Nissan fan anymore. I got a brand new Nissan Rogue 2020. First week, two defective parts on the car that had to be replaced. Second week, felt vibration on gas pedal during acceleration, found out another defective part on my car. The car I received had multiple scratches on the window frame both plastic and aluminum part and one scratch on the bumper. Sales representative always answered my phones before I fill out the survey; but as soon as I did the survey not anymore. I asked them if they could just change the car for me; the same model and the same year. After looking at my monthly payment, Sales manager told me that it was feasible to buy back the car and give me a new one but had to go over that with the GM and get approval.Their answer was that they would lose money so they couldn’t. This is business, sometimes you have to lose money to keep you customers; especially if they are loyal customer. Not happy with their customer service since they don’t care about you anymore as soon as they sell you their products. You will be hearing just about warranty after that. I understand warranty, but who wants to drive a car with 3 defective parts that needs to be changed in the first two weeks of getting a brand new car. I could easily go to Car Max which has s better customer service compared to this dealership. They also have warranty on their cars. I will deal with this car for the next three years but goodbye Nissan after that since you will lose me as a loyal customer after having three different cars with you; I know you guys don’t care; if you did care, you would have taken care of this for me. Now, I have to take my car to a new dealership to fix the issue. This will be my 5th time going dealership to have my car fixed in a month. More
STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! NO Star or negative is what they earned!! Especially EMMITT - EMMITT took advantage of my elderly MOM and Aunt and they are on a fixed income!!! They needed help to get a reliabl earned!! Especially EMMITT - EMMITT took advantage of my elderly MOM and Aunt and they are on a fixed income!!! They needed help to get a reliable car they could afford, they told him repeatedly not to add things on- nothing extra! EMMITT is a used car salesman kind of guy, a crook that takes advantage of elderly women, he adds things on the paperwork they said NO to over and OVER, he did this for 3 hours! Then EMMITT rushes through the paperwork skipping over the added on areas, he added on, even though he was told NO NO NO every attempt .. He then rushes them, saying just sign here - just sign here- sign here and here and here. Preventing them from catching everything he added on against their request not to because they have a fixed budget and can not afford it! When they realized what happened- they called over and over, then they went to see EMMITT. EMMITT flat out lied, saying they changed their minds- was so unprofessional he threw a card down on the table and walked out of the room. Now they are paying 60 dollars more a month for things they did not want nor need- taking away from their medication and food needs. EMMITT you are a piece of .....work!! Karma is xxxxx.. And I pray you get yours! ... More
I was in the market for a new used car and came across some good Nissian deals on cars.com. I found one I liked and reached out to Town North. Brandon Wiginton was my sales person and was professional sta some good Nissian deals on cars.com. I found one I liked and reached out to Town North. Brandon Wiginton was my sales person and was professional start to finish. I am very busy and don’t have a lot of time to sit around at dealerships, Brandon was able to virtually help me look at the car. Brandon took pictures, texted me back and forth, explained features and extras, and then we met at the dealership to sign the paperwork and do a final test drive. Thanks Brandon! More
Do Not Buy Here! you can find bad reviews about this dealer all over the internet! My experience was the worse I had in all my experience as car buyer, I am 49 and change cars every year been in many dealer all over the internet! My experience was the worse I had in all my experience as car buyer, I am 49 and change cars every year been in many dealerships and this one is like a bad joke. The people running this business are all liers and they will do it till they get the sale done and after the sale is done... Carlos and all his lies: EV Cable inside - lie, Mats inside - lie, 2 keys - lie I traded a car with positive equity and got a cheaper car, My car was worth 25000 and the one I got was 22.000 so they owe me $3000. That usually is paid for most dealers 4-5 weeks after the sale, I been in this situation many times. Its been 3 months and I am still waiting for that check, I been calling, emailing and they just keep lying... so many times they already told me we'll ship it tomorrow overnight. Last excuse they told me FedEx won't deliver to my address and I do get Fedex. I went to the dealership and they told me we ll get the check for you today, waited for 5hrs and then they told me it won't happen today but will ship it tomorrow... more and more lies its been 3 weeks.... STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! More
I recently tried to purchase a Nissan pre owned Rogue through car gurus. I spoke with my personal banker and told him about what I was going to spend and we had it all lined up to wire the money and jus through car gurus. I spoke with my personal banker and told him about what I was going to spend and we had it all lined up to wire the money and just flat buy the car for the listed price which was 16471.00. When I contacted them I was told that price was only if we financed through them. Well car gurus said that pricing on their website was not supposed to be based on any rebate, financing etc because that effects where the care is ranked as far as a good deal etc. I was a little over a barrel because my daughter was stranded with out a car so I told them I would pay the extra 750.00 which would have equaled the "rebate" if I financed through them. Then they said I had to fill out a government form that proves who they are dealing with. That I am not a terrorist or drug cartel etc. So they sent me the link. The link took me to their finance application. I am a gulf war veteran and sent them a copy of my DD214 that showed I served two years in gulf war. IM NO TERRORIST. The general manager wasted the entire day away until the Fed was closed so there was no way we could wire the money from my bank. There is something very "FISHY' with this dealership. I have NEVER seen a care sales place that wouldnt sell the car for the price they were asking for. Then I saw all these reviews. I cant believe banks give them money to even have an inventory. I really dont expect them to be around much longer. The only reason I give them 1 star is because there is no negative stars. STAY AWAY. RUN. More
