After a bad car accident, I had my car in another shop for over 3 weeks and they did not fix multiple issues and gave me nothing but a headache, making my life more difficult at an already difficult time. for over 3 weeks and they did not fix multiple issues and gave me nothing but a headache, making my life more difficult at an already difficult time. I should have known better and taken my car right to Jim at Chrysler in the first place! I called him for help and he immediately got my car into the shop, gave it a once over, figured out the problem and even fought with and advocated for me with multiple people at the car insurance company to make sure it got handled! Needless to say, I am extremely satisfied, I could have kissed Jim! in under a week my car was back on my driveway and the issues seem to be completely repaired! Thank God for Jim and the Town & Country Service team! I can not thank them enough, especially Jim for his professionalism and wonderful customer service! More
After shopping at many area dealerships I decided to stop at Town & Country on my way to sign for a Grand Cherokee Limited at a competing dealership. I am so happy that I stopped at this dealership! I was at Town & Country on my way to sign for a Grand Cherokee Limited at a competing dealership. I am so happy that I stopped at this dealership! I was greeted at the door and Michael Lester came to the desk right away to sit me down and answer all of my questions. They did not play any games and treated me with the utmost respect. After accepting my new offer I was introduced to the finance manager, Rich DeMott, who happens to be one of the nicest finance managers I ever met. Rich took the time to go over every single document with me and made sure I completely understood all of my financing options and the meaning of each document prior to signing the document. After the car was prepared Michael Lester sat with me in my new Jeep and showed me every single button and all of the new technology. I never felt pressured or rushed during my experience at Town & Country. To top off this wonderful experience, I called Rich DeMott at 10pm the night of my purchase with one last question - thinking I would leave him a voicemail for the next day, to my surprise he answered the phone!!!! He was so happy to hear from me, answered my question and made sure I was completely happy with the Jeep! I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle with Michael Lester and Rich DeMott. More

I explained to Mi Dear Fred Hoyt, I recently visited your dealership. I walked in at 2pm on October 29th 2013 and was introduced to Michael Lester. I explained to Michael exactly what I was looking for. He was extremely understanding and helpful. I left that same day at 6pm driving a brand new 2014 Jeep Patriot which I absolutely love. I have bought a lot of cars in the past and this was by far the easiest and best experience. Not only was Michael nice and friendly. We sat for those 4 hours and talked about family and his 4 beautiful children and grandchildren. I have recommended by boss's who are looking for the same car. You can look out for them there names are Connie and Ciro, they are husband and wife. I will defiantly be back and would only want to deal with Michael. He is an asset to your company.Thank you. Sincerely, Danielle Barlotta More
Now going on day 3 of my car being at this location. Never offered a loaner car ONCE! Had to ask for one myself, each time only to be told that there were none. Their excuse on the phone? "We're a littl Never offered a loaner car ONCE! Had to ask for one myself, each time only to be told that there were none. Their excuse on the phone? "We're a little short on staff."Your problems should not become the customers problems. 3 days at your location for something not terribly complex is not only ridiculous, it shows the overall competency of your operation is quite low. Rest assured, I will be advising people NOT to go to your location. The inconvenience that you have burdened me with is unacceptable. Whether it be Huntington, Westbury, Merrick or any of the other Jeep dealers on Long Island, if anyone ever asks me where to purchase and/or service a Jeep, I would refer any of those locations over yours. The worst part about all of this? You have not made one offer to help make things right. Just going on about your business as usual. I plan on posting my story in as many reviews as possible with the hope that my terrible experience sways at least one person away from giving your clown show operation any business. More
I learned a short lesson here and suggest you avoid this place. I talked to Chris, the internet sales manager on the phone and then to a guy named London, both of whom were nice and kept me posted on the ca place. I talked to Chris, the internet sales manager on the phone and then to a guy named London, both of whom were nice and kept me posted on the car's availability. They have nothing to do with the bitter taste I have after going here. The car was a blue 2010 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 manual car. When I got there I was greeted by a not-so-friendly Youri and some guy who was smoking a cigarette, who said, "Someone just put money down on that car over the phone." Really? That fast? I was allowed to test drive it anyway. Youri started the car and I noticed a lot of white smoke from the tailpipes. I checked the oil and found the oil needed to be changed (maybe this is the reason for the white smoke) and later noticed there were two holes in the front passenger seat. Youri was mostly quiet before and during the test drive. He lacked any personality. The car made a weird sound when I braked hard (to test the brakes), like a metal clunk sound. The brakes seemed responsive, though don't know what that sound was. It shifted and drove well though, with good pick up. I liked the car more after having driven it. When I went into the office to find out the full cost of the car, I found they added a bunch of fees such as the "dealer prep fee" which I know is a nonsense fee and a "transportation fee" which was a charge to bring the car "from the auction to the dealer." Now this is an auction car. I thought at a dealer you get trade-ins. Both of these aforementioned fees are business expenses not to be passed on to the customer. I understand there are taxes and the dealer charges for the title and registration. I can register the car myself and don't really need to pay that either. But I didn't trust these people. The guy from the parking lot was there in the office and he was talking to two women who appeared to be customers. He was giving them some sort of advice on the big-bad wolf at other dealers because he can be trusted. Of course he can be. Back to Youri, who wanted me to insure the car before any paperwork was submitted for a loan. I know what this is: A nice way for them to give me a higher interest loan and loan fees where Town and Country gets kickbacks. I forgot to mention to them I had a pre-approved bank loan from my bank and all I need was a purchase and sale agreement. I saw nothing but hit cars at used car dealers and figured going to a reputable flagship dealer would be better. Youri said I needed a $1,000 down. I said, "No problem" but kept looking at the paper at those extra unnecessary fees. Then the guy from the parking lot had stopped talking to the women and said, "The car is sold, let's go." I said abruptly, "Forget it." I left. This guy must be the owner because he sped off in a 300c that had dealer plates. I hope he made it to his "mom's party." Yeah right. Undesirable people come in all shapes and sizes. They just have a different style of doing the same thing: Robbing people (yes I like that semicolon). I got there at closing time on a Sunday because I tried to squeeze visiting Town and Country in after having been to a few other not-so-great dealers and I can understand people want to go home. However, you're dealing with the potential sale of a car, but sometimes rational thinking doesn't make sense to pretentious, dishonest people. If Town and Country Jeep knew how to do business the right way maybe they'd have more customers. Though they don't seem to have to worry though. It rains car sales there because people make sudden, impulsive car purchases over the phone. I'm better off without their cars or their "customer service." Change the oil in that car by the way. I am a serious buyer looking for good treatment and a good --honest-- deal. You can keep your car and find someone who is desperate enough to buy it. I hope it sits there for months. More
