DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! !!!! I bought my 2014 Ford Escape from Towbin and should have known from the beginning to just walk out the door! Salesman pushed me into a vehicle I !!!! Then he emphatically told me how important it was to get a warranty because of all the high tech things on the car that could cost thousands of dollars to fix. Made sense as I told him only if the warranty covered everything he said the “High Tech” package would me my needs. Fast forward to the backup cam going out. Made an appointment at Towbin as I was told I was required to go to waited a month for the appointment got there they said we can’t fix this it has to go to Ford he looked up my warranty and sent the car to Ford Country. He said they’d fix it and I’d just owe deductible. They diagnose problems and tell me the warranty company said nothing I had wrong was covered and cost to fix it was $2,000. Called Towbin and asked why I was sold a warranty that didn’t cover any of the things I specifically bought it for and they said “That salesman doesn’t work here anymore” I talked to the GM and he said finance would get the problem rectified. They said “Sorry nothing we can do for you”. So now I have to pay $400 in diagnostic fees and forgo the repair because I can’t afford that. They would offer no compensation for my being sent to fix something at Ford that wasn’t even covered when the Service Manager said it was. When I asked about what the GM said the finance guy tells me the GM said he never talked to me. When I went to cancel the warranty the finance people were impossible to get a hold of and very dismissive. I’ve worked in the car industry multiple times in my life and I know how GOOD dealerships do business. This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had! Don’t walk away from this place RUN AND DONT LOOK BACK! More

We'll on the 12th finally was able to speak with the Service director about the situation and he sent up the documents to their insurance company supposedly and then told me the General Manager basically said he will not do anything regarding their negligence. Here are some pictures that were taken .The one with the missing drainplug was taken right infront of us by the Firestone technician that our Insurance company told us to tow it to. The tow truck driver dumped it off and because they were pretty busy they do not do motors anyway he just took a look at it and within a minute knew what the problem was. He asked who changed the oil last because who ever did would be at fault he claimed because there was no way or shape that after 700 miles a drainplug just falls out after a oil change .Towbin Kia basically is saying after a inspection done by them that the inspection that has no recommendation for additional service because this van was serviced on time only at their service shop means nothing. My inlaws would only do their service here no matter what. So after getting rejected I have decided to go on any social media ,BBB,I'll search for options and maybe even file small claims . A perfectly running van blew up because of them doing a oil change . .Please for the sake of your hard earned money take your Kia to Findlay Kia ..Findlay is a very reputable company. Not saying Towbin is all bad but their Kia dealer is SHADY..I am going going to spend a lot of time making sure anyone I know stays away from Towbin Kia. . More

Tread Carefully & Avoid the 2013 Mercedes SLK55 AMG My experience with Towbin Kia was abysmal. This dealership is not forthcoming and did not represent the car they are selling accurately. My experience with their salesman, Rameen, was negative. He represents a slimy car salesman perfectly. I contacted Towbin about a 2013 Mercedes SLK55 AMG I was interested in, listed below market value. Initially, the dealership informed me it was sold. I was disappointed since it had only been listed for a day but decided to move on. Shortly after, I received a call from Evan explaining it was still available. Evan introduced me to Rameen in Sales, and it went downhill from there. Rameen informed me that the SLK55 was in good shape and had been inspected by Towbin after they took it in a trade to ensure it didn’t need anything. He sent me a video walkaround of the car that was rushed and provided no additional photos of the car. He specifically mentioned that, “He drove it around town for ~30 minutes and that it was good to go.” Knowing that Towbin Kia is a franchised dealer with 4.6 stars, I felt alright taking them at their word that the car was represented accurately, in good faith. We settled on an agreed out the door price, and I sent Towbin Kia a bank wire. After talking to my uncle who races cars, he suggested I get a Pre-Purchase Inspection as an afterthought just to be certain I know what I’m buying. I contacted RepairSmith and scheduled a PPI and they completed it the next business day which included driving the car, a scan tool, photos, videos, and a comprehensive inspection. Here is where things really went downhill. The mechanic informed me the car has some major problems. Mechanically, this SLK55 has Mercedes M152 V8 engine and the mechanic told me, “There was a ticking sound coming from the valvetrain that mainly occurred on startup when the engine was cold for about 10 seconds.” This is a major issue with the M152 that a few other R172 SLK55 owners have reported on forums. This required breaking down the engine and replacing both timing chains and timing chain tensioners which is extremely labor intensive. Fletcher Jones Imports quoted me $8900 for these repairs which includes 40 hours of labor! Additionally, the mechanic informed me that all 4 Brembo AMG brake rotors have noticeable lips on them indicating they are very worn down and need to be replaced. A ticking valvetrain is one thing (Kia mechanics might not know about), but lipped and faded brake rotors is glaringly obvious to any mechanic upon visual inspection. Fletcher Jones Imports quoted me $3500 for new AMG performance brake rotors and pads! Cosmetically, the mechanic sent pictures and informed me that the car had three dents on the driver’s side quarter panel. Additionally, the glove compartment handle and locking mechanism are completely missing–meaning you can’t even open the glovebox. Needless to say, I was frustrated by the lack of transparency from Rameen and Towbin Kia. When I called him to explain the issues from the PPI, he refused to own up to his mistakes and blamed me by saying, “I sent you a video walkaround of the car man!” He called back offering a measly $1000 off the vehicle price, which won’t even cover 2 front AMG brake rotors. At that point, I knew it was time to get my money back and run like xxxx from Towbin Kia. If I could give 1.5 stars instead of 1 star, I would thanks to the courtesy and promptness of Linda in the business department. She was gracious enough to send my money back as an overnighted business check with Saturday delivery. Shoutout to Linda! My takeaway from Towbin Kia is that if something seems too good to be true, it definitely is! Always do your research and get a third party inspection. Dishonest salesmen like Rameen are ubiquitous with the auto industry. There are much better dealerships in the Las Vegas/Henderson area to do business with. I dodged a huge bullet here and am grateful to RepairSmith and Fletcher Jones Imports for keeping me out of trouble on this deal! More

This place is a joke. I’ve been to this dealer twice in the past couple of years. The first time in 2020 I was looking at purchasing a car and they had so many dealer extr I’ve been to this dealer twice in the past couple of years. The first time in 2020 I was looking at purchasing a car and they had so many dealer extras on the cars that their inexpensive cars were thousands more expensive than they should have been. While all dealers do this to some degree this was definitely alarming high. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. February 1st 2022 I decided to browse their lot and see if I can find a cheap entry level daily driver so I don’t have to use my other more expensive and less fuel efficient vehicles everyday so I head over to Towbin Kia and their cars are marked up by 10k due to a market adjustment. Other places have market adjustments due to the chip shortage but none anywhere near that level. They also make up for it by actually adding dealer extras. Kia wasn’t adding a thing but a markup SMH total rip off. This place doesn’t deserve your business. More
