Although I love the car I bought, I was very upset when I finally received it. I am a single older woman and the car wouldn’t start when I was out on the road. This was very upsetting and stressful. When I got it to a repair shop they told me it had a 7 year old battery and not a drop of oil in it. The filter was black as tar. This could have ruined the car if I continued driving it, I could have had serious damage. Shame on me for not checking under the hood, but shame on Torchlight for not being transparent! I would have paid for a battery and they do repairs, so it would have been easy. When I contacted them they and told them how upset I was, and realize it’s an old car but felt I was taken advantage of, they said I attacked them and they always change the oil before a sale. No attack, just facts. Sent them pictures and no response. They never even apologized. This is a poor way to do business. More
