We drove over 3 hours to look at the truck we wanted and are very pleased with the vehicle, the extras of the red carpet treatment and the whole purchasing/financing thing. Each person we cam in contact with, sales, managers, and detailers geninuely were there to give us service! We found Ed Doran to be people orientated, people centered, concerned about what we wanted, and at no time was there the rushing around behind scences with the secret language of buying a used car. Ed was also proud of the Tonkin Wilsonveille name and company! Throughout the purchase process Ed introduced us to the people he works with (Sean/Sales Manager and Damian Lopez/Finance) other employees of the Tonkin Wilsonville team also came up to us to make sure we were doing fine! We will be back and we will also let our freinds and family know that it is well worth the time and effort to travel there. What also was impressive to us was they knew how to handle the finance for out of state sales tax carrying about the Oregon laws and Washington laws (way to know your stuff Damian)! To put it bluntly, I hate having to buy a new car. I always left with the feeling that I was the victim of a "con job", and that explains, in part, why I kept my old pickup for almost 19 years. However, I can say my recent experience at Wilsonville Nissan was not at all what I expected. Very low keyed, no presure and, most importantly, no sense that I was "conned". Wish we'd come in on the weekend so everyone didn't feel rushed, since it got pretty late by the time we were done. Best price we found for the vehicle in the area. We test drove a Cube at another dealership, but Ed made sure that we test drove this particular car and became familiar and comfortable with it. I would say on the CVT, it's true that you don't feel it shift when you are excelerating because it doesn't. But, you definitely feel it shift when you are coming to a stop. So, explaining that differently would probably prepare people for how it functions better than to say you just don't feel it shift. I, personally, do not care for pressure in the sales process. That's part of why we bought at Wilsonville, from Ed. We test drove some vehicles there and returned after looking at other vehicles in other places. The staff was friendly and fair and didn't pressure us too much. Pretty much none at all is too much for me. So, for me, having my business is the review that is needed. Continuing to give good service, without too much pressure, will keep me coming back. Also, the finance manager, Damien, was great to work with. More

I recently had a dead lamp in my headlight - Bill and Scott jumped right in and had the replacement bulbs in place before I even finished paying for the part. Needless to say there was no "service charge", just a quick handshake and a "thanks for your business" and I was on my way. There is a dealership closer to my home (Beaverton Nissan), but candidly - they are a terrible outfit and don't hold a candle to the EXCEPTIONAL team at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan. More

Was the best car buying experience that we have ever had. We will be back the next time we are looking for another vehicle. Would recommend Tim and Wilsonville Nissan to anyone. Ed Doran was great to work with. Easy going, and low pressure. We had originally planned to trade in our vehicle as part of the purchase. We decided to go another direction with our trade after recieving what we felt was an extremely "low ball" offer. A little too much pressure was put on us at that point to keep that trade in as part of the deal. It was obvious that dealership "sales games" were being played with regards to our trade-in, something neither my wife or I appreciated. The paperwork signing and financing was professional and quick. We did have a minor maintenance item that popped up a day after we purchased, that was taken care of by the dealership quickly and professionally. Ed Doran and a sales manager went out of their way to personally drop off our car after maintenance to our home. Very much appreciated. More
