My wife and I visited this dealership several months ago, knowing that we were going to replace our 2003 Jeep Liberty in the next 6-9 months. After looking at these briefly, we decided it may be too much truck for our needs and James was able to steer us away from this, pointing out reasons why a full-size was not right for what we needed. James showed us several Frontiers and as few SUVs and we took a test drive. James compared the Frontier with the Toyota Tacoma, pros and cons. He encouraged us to visit the Toyota dealership and try a Tacoma ourselves. Which we did afterward. We were upfront with James that we were not looking to purchase at the time of our first visit, but seeing what is available and what we liked for when the time came. He was understanding and did not try to make us buy something right then and offered us times of the year when prices would be better and when the dealership sale events were taking place. He really appeared to have our best interest in mind. He asked us to come back to him even if we decided we preferred a Toyota since he has access to many vehicles in the Tonkin inventory in the Portland area. After visiting a few dealerships since, we came back last week to work specifically with James. He was a pleasure to work with- mild mannered, calm and had access to the answers we wanted. He encourages us to call, e-mail or text any time of day we have questions, as he did with our first visit and a sale was months away at best. He was open and honest and forthcoming; offered us available discounts where we could get them. He did not try to "pull a fast one" at any time or pressure us. More

My visit to Tonkin was the best visit from all dealerships I had been too during my previous weeks car search. Jay and the AWESOME team he works with were not only friendly, but seriously respectf dealerships I had been too during my previous weeks car search. Jay and the AWESOME team he works with were not only friendly, but seriously respectful, listened and answered all of our questions, especially the ones my mother had which were redundent. Jay was extreemly patient with her and never rushed us during our inquiries about the Caravan we were interested in. Personally, I have never experienced this level of proffesionalism when it comes to buying a car. I never felt like I was fresh meat in a tank of hungry sharks, as I have experienced this at other dealerships. I truly felt that not only was my business appreciated, but I also felt that thru every step of the process, ( and we made it a long one for him), that he really had our best interest per our situation at heart. He explained things so very well, did not talk too fast, he did not hide any information, he did not offer any false hopes, cheesey gimiks or candy coat anything. Just real, friendly, honest, straight up, and most of all... valued the same interest we had for the reason of purchasing this peticular vehicle. I KNOW I HAVE THE VERY BEST CAR FOR THE VALUE :) and a great fit for me and my children for a long time to come. Thank you for every thing you guys!! Best car buying experience of my life. I would even say it was ENJOYABLE! Tim is outstanding and you can tell he loves his job. He certainly went the extra mile to help us get our Pathfinder. The entire staff was relaxed, very helpful, & friendly in guiding us through the process. None of that high pressure that you encounter almost everywhere else. Our 2008 Pathfinder is the first Nissan that we have owned. All we can say is "Why did we wait so long?" ! Love it ! Love it! Absolutely had the best experience at this particular location. I didn't feel bullied, or pushed to buy. I was allowed to look at what I wanted, my questions were answered very promptly, and they offer a location. I didn't feel bullied, or pushed to buy. Hendrix was amazing, and I'm lucky to have landed the car I wanted with his help. I had needed my front breaks replaced and rotors turned on my 2005 Ford F150. An appointment was made and the service department greeted me and was ready when I drove up. Chad did an initial review of the work to be done and ensured I understood what would be taking place and the time involved. I was shown the waiting area and the great amenities at my fingertips including beverages of my choice. During the service (which included new parts that I had brought in) a few additional concerns where discovered. Chad discussed the situation and we were able to work out a solution in a very reasonable manner. Thank you for your professional demeanor and to the "mechanic/technician" who did an outstanding job with this break service. Well done and you will be my first choice for service in the future. From the second that we pulled into the dealership we were immediately greeted with a friendly face. He immediately remembered me as well and started asking about a dog that I used to have. My husband and I had done our online research the night before so we knew just the SUV that we wanted to see. Rick promptly grabbed the keys and then my husband and him went and grabbed the car for us to see. Rick was GREAT to work with. He answered all of our questions and was very honest and upfront. My husband and I went into the day thinking that we needed to go to all these different dealerships and see all that is out there. Our minds immediately changed when we drove the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. The amount of features that come loaded in this SUV are more than I have seen in some high end luxury makes and models. For the price and options it made it a no-brainer. We could not be happier with the friendly staff and overall great experience buying a car at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan! More
