I’ve never been so extremely satisfied with a dealership as I have been with Tonkin Nissan in Wilsonville. I have taken my Z370 to them for 5 years now. And absolutely every service visit has gone very well as I have been with Tonkin Nissan in Wilsonville. I have taken my Z370 to them for 5 years now. AVOID THIS PLACE. .. BAIT AND SWITCH PLAYER AND VERY DISHONEST...driving down from the Olympia area we went to look at a vehicle they had advertised for 39,500[CPO 23 .. BAIT AND SWITCH PLAYER AND VERY DISHONEST...driving down from the Olympia area we went to look at a vehicle they had advertised for 39,500[CPO 23 ROGUE PLATINUM]. the salesman was very nice. we already put our VIN number on the Kelley Blue Book site and saw the trade range being from mid $10,300 to low 14,100 we figured trying to be around 12,500 or so was not too much to ask they came back offering LIKE 8000 for the trade showing us at Kelley Blue Book print out saying that they're deriving the information from Kelly direct when I had the website up with the VIN... Also, buyer beware, when they wrote up the sales proposal from the used car manager the price of the vehicle was switched to 41999 + 1300 for a ceramic coating package another 900 for some clear paint protectant, 3,500 for an extended warranty even though it was a Nissan CPO... just typical price inflators....So the bait and switch on the price of the sale was pretty apparent and then trying to say they use the same resources and not even listening to the fact that I used the exact same resources in the numbers weren't correct tells me that they were obviously manipulating information to their favor. so the deal looked good until you showed up in person. On our way out I also heard some other people having the same conversation of how they were being treated shady and we're going somewhere else. Also pretty tacky to do an appraisal on the vehicle and move it and then when they give you the keys back after you reject their shady shenanigans and they don't bother to tell you where they relocated the car.needless to say, went to olympia nissan and bought a new.. not used Rogue Platinum for less. way less.I will NEVER recommend GEE Automotive or tonkin auto to anyone. I will also be reporting them accordingly for the blatantly obvious slimy practices.Do better.AVOID THIS PLACE... My wife and I had recently had our car stolen which was later found trashed - leaving us pretty shocked and of course without a car. We looked online and found Tonkin Nissan dealership and saw a Mitsub later found trashed - leaving us pretty shocked and of course without a car. We looked online and found Tonkin Nissan dealership and saw a Mitsubishi outlander that we were very much interested in, but were also open to other models as well. Rick Gilpin was the definition of patient, attentive, and kind. Had absolutely no “rush” feeling and actually my wife and I found ourselves just genuinely enjoying our conversations! Rick was able to help my wife and I drive off the lot with the car of our dreams, and we would not have been able to do it without his help. He went above and beyond to help us get a monthly installment that would work for us, that was in our budget, and we were just blown away at the effort that was made to help us purchase the vehicle. Also the finance department John Nguyen was incredible and was able to help us with our interest rates, which we didn’t even ask for! He could have just let us leave with the higher rate but looked at it and said, “Wait, maybe I can get you a better rate, let me try”. After running another check he was able to drop our percentage rate! My wife and I were treated as if we were friends for 10 years. Honestly I won’t buy any other car from someone other than from Rick. He was honest, straight forward, knew exactly what he was talking about, and was genuinely eager to let us test drive cars and look at all the options they had. Henry was my sales person and Riley was our financial guy. We were in a jam , our 07 Fj Cruiser had just been totaled due to vandalism and we had until the 30th to keep the rental and get another car. guy. With the price of a new car now and since we live up in the mountains we needed a Tank with 4 wheel drive , we wouldn't have been able to afford a new car . We spotted one on Carfax That they had. Everything about the Xterra was up front and nothing hidden. The car in person was in top condition and they had information about the brakes and everything about the car . It took us less than two hours to buy the car . And the radio wasn't working so they were going to replace it or try to fix it. They fixed it and we got it cleaned and filled with gas ! What a honorable bunch of wonderful people! Thank you so very much ! And they are all so very nice too ! More
