They won’t own up to their mistakes This company is a scam.. I leased a 2017 JETTA in Jan 2017 now a year and half later my tire light goes on and when I got my tire checked out the tech This company is a scam.. I leased a 2017 JETTA in Jan 2017 now a year and half later my tire light goes on and when I got my tire checked out the tech told me my tire was plugged and now it’s leaking. Now my vehicle has only been in two people possession of my car the dealer and I.. now I know I never touched my tire. I’ve plugged tires in the past if I had a nail in my tire then be it. I’ll fix it. But no the dealership is not taking responsibility for misleading someone in a sale. They know they plugged my tire. They are claiming they have no record of it, but how convenient they don’t have record of it. I’m also being told I had possession of my vehicle for a while now. But don’t you think it’s kind of funny a year and half later the plug finally starts to leak, since a plug isn’t a permanent fix anyway?... there was many ways this dealer could of handled this issue but instead they want to place blame on me. I’m in a lease I will be needed another car at some point and I can assure you I will never come back to this dealership. If there is no customer loyalty why should I have buyers loyalty. More

A easy new car transaction I initially contacted Toms River VW through an inquiry on their website for a new vehicle they listed in stock. The internet department responded quickly and were willing to discuss parameters of a deal, including ballpark value for my trade-in, without the hassle you get from many other internet sales department. Although it turned out the vehicle was actually a demo, I felt comfortable enough with our email communication to see it. When I arrived at the dealership, it was fairly straight forward getting them to match the best deal I had from another dealer, including taking back both a trade-in and an early lease return, not a simple transaction. As others have pointed out here, I was hit with the not-really-optional $398 VIN etching fee, but I had expected this and was not surprised. It took the better part of 6 hours to go from test drive to drive off, which seemed like a very long time time, but the dealership was quite busy with customers, which is always good to see. In the end, I am a happy with the vehicle , the deal and service provided by Toms River VW. More

I was told one thing, and then something totally different. I felt extremely taken advantage of. When I was told that Frank would follow up, he did not. I honestly feel like if I had walked in there with a xxxx ton of money to put down for my purchase I would have been treated fairly. But because I fall below poverty, I was looked over until the more "important" customers had been taken care of first. It's a shame, but in the end I am glad I did not give them my business, they do not deserve it. More

The dealership was easy to find and its showroom was clean, well lit, and updated. Robbie was the sales rep who greeted us during our visit and he handled the entire process smoothly. We agreed on the final pricing with very little hassle and then and proceeded to the paperwork. The procedure was clear and straightforward. Within two or three hours the car was washed Nd ready for us to pick up. The documentation was prepared and sent to MVC without delay as well. Before we left, Robbie thoroughly explained the features on the car, and welcomed us to contact him again if we have further questions. The sales manager also followed up to double check if we are satisfied with our purchase. We think our car buying experience at Toms River was a success and we would happily recommend it to our friends! More
