Caution! Last time I will use Toms River VW. My daughters 2015 Jetta Sport went in for an oil change. $90 for an oil change and they told her she needed an Ai Last time I will use Toms River VW. My daughters 2015 Jetta Sport went in for an oil change. $90 for an oil change and they told her she needed an Air Filter ( I Already replaced it the day before) Spark plugs for $300 (she has 49K miles, manual states 60K replace) and stated she needed front brake pads and rotors $600.00. Told them to finish oil change and write up estimate for items. Took her car to another shop. They stated plugs were not needed yet and that the front brakes were still 50%. Rear brakes were about 15% and suggest replacement. Replaced rear pads and rotors for $305. I have purchased multiple VW from this dealer and serviced them all here. At one time we had 3 VW in household. Will never use dishonest dealer again. Beware! She stated service writer was nice though while trying to upsell. To top it off they never reset her service reminder on the car. More
Bought my car here and told first 3 oil changes are free...not true! Best part is while I was here arguing this point, they were telling another customer the same thing. Came in to get my wife a new (used car) as well as trade in my own vehicle. We were extremely impressed with the service from our salesperson, Angelo. Bought a preowned “certified” 2018 Tiguan from them less than a year ago, put less than 9,000 miles on it and it already needs new brake pads, plus many other problems the dealership is unwilling to take re than a year ago, put less than 9,000 miles on it and it already needs new brake pads, plus many other problems the dealership is unwilling to take responsibility for. I want to make sure to leave a review in all places I can for this place. My Tiguan that I got from here is leaking water inside. Just save your self money and time buy your new vw somewhere else. Took over two months to get car registered and was driving with an expired temp plate for over a month. they did not install front li somewhere else. They just threw in the back of the car. I would of did myself but with all the sensors in front I wanted to make sure its properly installed. Dont have time to go another dealer so I got a $65 ticket two days in row for not having front plates installed. Dealership is trash. Should of went my instincts and walked out. More
Went in to get a new Jetta, was met by Jim A. really great salesman, we worked everything rather quickly and smoothly, I knew that I would be in the dealership awhile (2-3 hours seems normal these days) great salesman, we worked everything rather quickly and smoothly, I knew that I would be in the dealership awhile (2-3 hours seems normal these days) so I was expecting to be there while everything was processed, Jim was super and kept us pretty entertained, would of been a 5 star review if it wasnt for one thing......THE MUSIC WAS HORRIBLE, must of heard the same songs at least 3 times and they were all this ultra modern crap, looking around the showroom it seems most of the customers were at least in their upper 30's to the 50's, change the station it is pure torture. More
