I originally went to the dealership to test drive a 2006 Beetle. Upon arrival I was a little skeptical because it was so quiet in the dealership. About two weeks earlier I was at another dealership and it w Beetle. Upon arrival I was a little skeptical because it was so quiet in the dealership. About two weeks earlier I was at another dealership and it was like a circus so I was surprised at how laid back it was. I was greeted by Phil and told that Braulio would be with me shortly to show me the vehicle and answer any questions that I had. While I was waiting for Braulio, I was looking at the Beetle and the Jetta was right next to it. The Jetta immediately caught my eye and when I saw the specs I just couldn't believe it. I was greeted by Braulio and he took out the Beetle so that I could test drive it. It was a cute car but drove a little rough. Braulio explained everything about the beetle and was very helpful, but I was honest with him and told him I really liked the Jetta. He said that wasn't a problem and he brought that out so that I could test drive it. I fell in love with it instantly. Braulio and Phil both agreed that the Jetta was a better fit for me so we started the loan process. Phil got me a great deal with the exact rate that I was looking for. Both men were very courteous, pleasant, friendly and understanding. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I will highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new or used car! Thank you so much for a pleasant experience!. More

This place was very straight forward and honest about everything you would be getting and more. Marino was very accommodating and helpful in my decision for the car I bought. It's something you don't rea everything you would be getting and more. Marino was very accommodating and helpful in my decision for the car I bought. It's something you don't really expect a salesman to be. But he was honest about everything from services to fees. David was upfront and to the point, he didn't try to push anything or add extra fees. He made the transaction very simple and overall satisfying. I've had horrible experiences with other places in the past. This place has renewed my faith in dealerships and I would strongly recommend going there. More

Everyone was very courteous and helpful. I needed to get to another appointment before the car was washed, but they invited me back to get it washed later. I did that and I thought it was very considerate. to another appointment before the car was washed, but they invited me back to get it washed later. I did that and I thought it was very considerate. I was not even looking to buy a car until I heard about a special offer which was 0% financing. To make a long story short, that is the ONLY reason I decided to buy a new car. The dealer and I agreed on a pr special offer which was 0% financing. To make a long story short, that is the ONLY reason I decided to buy a new car. The dealer and I agreed on a price I could afford and we decided to go forward with the sale. He gave me a long speech on how people can lie but numbers don't lie. We worked the payments out on the calculator to see how much my payments would be each month and they were a bit high. We discussed a down payment and how it would affect the monthly payments and I was told that the payments would come down $20 or $25 dollars a month for each $1000 put down. We decided what the new payments would be with a down payment of $4000. At this point, everything was great. I went home and organized my finances and I returned the next day with my down payment. To my dismay, the payments I was promised would not be feasible. I was told that with $4000 dollars down my payments would be $360 a month and I was told that it was still a really good deal. I decided that I was still going to go ahead and purchase the vehicle under these new terms. I gave a down payment, signed a contract, we shook hands, and I purchased my vehicle. When my car was ready, I went to go pick it up from the dealership. Upon arrival, I was asked to sign a new contract. The original contract was for 66 months and 0% financing and the new contract was now for 72 months at 1.75% I told the dealer that I was uncomfortable with these new terms and that I could only afford the original contract. I was then told that I could lose my deposit if I walked away. I was then offered a service on my car's paint that I was told would be free of charge and when the changes were made to the contract, I was charged $899 for the aforementioned service. In short, I signed a contract that I was comfortable with and that I could afford and when I went to pick up the car in which I already bought, the contract was changed and made my payments higher and ultimately made the car $4500 more expensive. *(3/16/13) Further, my odometer statement was inaccurate and it did not match my other two documents which were given to me. The car I was supposed to have apparently had 26 miles on it and when I looked in the car it had 81 miles. I believe this is a misdemeanor in state of New Jersey. As a matter of fact, a few of my documents were incorrect. The contract I was originally give I was not allowed to take home when it clearly states at the bottom that I am free to take it and review it. In addition, it was stated that after I signed the contract that I can cancel it if the seller agrees. Well, there is no reason for the seller to agree with me if I did not want to cancel it. Furthermore, I was told that the annual percentage rate was not up to the seller when it again clearly states on the contract that "The Annual Percentage Rate may be negotiable with the Seller." Also, there was no explanation as to why the deal changed with the number of months. As stated earlier, it was supposed to be financed for 60 months and they changed it to a 72 month. The excuse I was given was that they did not have the color of the car in which I wanted. I find that really odd because I called before I even went over there and I was told by the dealership and by truecar.com that they had the car in my color. I also checked the dealership's website and it too said that they had a few cars in my color when I signed the original contract which was not given to me but snatched from me when I went to grab it on the way out. In the next days to come, the website kept saying that my car was there. Then it would say my car was gone and that another few were "In Transit." Then again it would say it was there. On every count that the website said the car was in stock the dealership said they knew nothing about it. Lastly, I was almost forced to buy protection for my car in which I did not need. I did not need to protect my tired or wheels and I did not need ding and windshield protection. My current insurance already covers any damage I sustain to and from my job. The seller was very adamant about me buying unnecessary protection he even threw in the tires, wheels, ding, windshield protection and the Xzilon paint treatment for $899 and then sneakingly charge me $899 and $799 for the services. He eve told me how much more I would pay per month which was completely inaccurate. What kind of stuff is that? So.........I think that it looks really bad when a professional is saying something using his or her mouth and then in black and white or sometimes in black and yellow it says something completely different in plain, simple English. I am extremely upset with how the situation was dealt with that I am seeking litigation to try and make this right. How can a company open up a new dealership in Union and pull these Shenanigans without ever explaining it or straight-up misinforming me on purpose? I really want to rate this dealership below 1 but it does not give that option. I really should have gone to Linden or Summit and bought my car because they were straght-shooters. I would have paid a little more which is what I am paying now anyway but at least they were honest and up-front with me on the price. They didn't lie and give me a cheap price just to change it when I went to go and pick up the car. More
