Poor post-sales experience The new Prius I purchased from Tom Wood has exceeded my expectations. However, I cannot say the same for their customer service. The Prius has an option for the reverse warning to change to a single beep. Per the manual, it says “settings can be changed by your Toyota dealer”. I came in on a Saturday to try to get this done. The service department said they would do it for $59. I found this totally unacceptable and told them that, along with others on the sales floor. I left without having it done. I could understand the charge if this were not a new car, purchased elsewhere or required significant time to do. It takes a couple of minutes to make the change I asked for. I made other arrangements for the change and will look elsewhere for future service. More

I took my chevy lumins 1996 on life support machine due to massive oil leak. Before evrn the work completion time, Tony called telling me my car is ready. It was a great surprise. My experience was very good, customer service wise. Service manager kept me informed regarding my vehicle. One thing I was disapointed in, was regarding my other concern regarding my vehicle and the t Service manager kept me informed regarding my vehicle. One thing I was disapointed in, was regarding my other concern regarding my vehicle and the transmission. Tech was unable to find any problem regarding my transmission concern. As soon as I left the dealership my concern was evident regarding my transmission as I pulled oput of the dealership. My Water Pump was replaced and I checked my coolant level and much to my surprise, my coolant reservoir was not filled up to the full level. Now, I either have to buy a gallon of Toyota Coolant or have service top off the vehicle which means I have to bring the vehicle back to the dealership! Other then that, everything regarding customer service met my expectations. More
I initially went in for service to my 2010 Camry, and left in a 2012 Camry-- quite unexpected!! I worked with Brad Roberts and he was very helpful, personable, and relatable in working w/me to find somet left in a 2012 Camry-- quite unexpected!! I worked with Brad Roberts and he was very helpful, personable, and relatable in working w/me to find something that I would love. I was able to tell him what I was looking for in a vehicle, and he provided that for me. We went on a thorough test drive-- city streets and highway-- so that I was able to get a good feel of how the car rides. Brad was very helpful in working to get it to where I did not have to put any money down (as I was not even prepared to buy a vehicle, and my focus is currently on saving for a home), and my monthly car payments were the same amount (actually less-- it came up a few dollars when I purchased the extended warranty-- But was still w/in the amount of my current car payment!). I must say, I was quite pleased, and glad that I came to Tom Wood Toyota. More
Had a shudder in the driver's side tire. It is a cupped tire. The fix was to balance all four tires and move the cupped tire to the back. The reason I can't give 'great' for the quality of work is because keeping that cupped tire feels unsafe to me. But the service rep assured me it will be fine since the tire still has good tread, but to change it in November before next winter. My feeling is he doesn't want to replace it now, since it would be under warranty, and wants me to wait til Nov since the warranty will be done by then. I'll speak with mgt about it. More

Tom Wood's service team is the best. My recent service was handled by Hjalti Thordarson. He was courteous & informative, & my work was completed well within the estimated time. I have been a customer of Tom Wood for more than 20 years & plan to continue, even though a recent move makes it harder to get there. Two weeks after I had a servie at Tom Wood, a screw fell off an undercarriage cover, and when I took it in they fixed it for me at no charge in about 30 minutes! I love this Toyota dealership. I have never off an undercarriage cover, and when I took it in they fixed it for me at no charge in about 30 minutes! I love this Toyota dealership. I have never been pressured about doing extra add on repairs like I have at other dealerships. More
Roy has time and time again expressed his want to help get me the best service while working to save me money. I needed tires and I called him at work and told him what I needed, he called me back within get me the best service while working to save me money. I needed tires and I called him at work and told him what I needed, he called me back within an hours time with prices. I told him I would call discount tire and get some prices also and he was fine with that. He called me back within 15 minutes with a price I could afford. I didn't ask anything else just told him I would have it there the next day. I have seen how busy it is there and to feel like someone did something special for your business is a great feeling.
