Poor communication after vehicle purchase. On 3 occasions that car was in for service or repair with first 3 weeks of owning it, I was told that work would take less time than it really did. I shopped for my new Prius all over the Indy area. After hearing from each of them how this vehicle was in such demand with gas at $4 /gallon, that there was very little room to deal on such a fuel efficien hearing from each of them how this vehicle was in such demand with gas at $4 /gallon, that there was very little room to deal on such a fuel efficient car I was getting discouraged. It didn't seem like they needed or wanted my business. I asked each of them to give me a reason to buy from them and nobody was giving me a reason that touched my wallet. I didnt have salesmen hawking me as soon as i hit the door at Wood, I was eventually asked if i needed help. WHen I met Brad, and told him he had the car I wanted if he just gave me a reason to buy from him, he immediately offered to beat the other guy's price. Music to my ears! As we talked, he seemed genuine and just did not want to lose a deal to the other guy. (He is the internet sales guy also) He didn't beat around the bush. He beat all other prices, Gave me all the time I needed, and sent me away with a deal I was happy with. THey also beat my best financing deal. THis was my most positive car shopping experience in all my years (many). Short, to the point, and made me feel like i got a deal (you never really know whether or not you got a deal). I did look online for what was said to be a good/great deal and mine was lower than the posted "great"deal. THanks Tom Wood, Thanks Brad Roberts! THanks to all the other sales people in Indy for not bugging me after I didn't buy from you. You proved to me you didn't need my business. Good luck with that. More
I was already set on buying a Prius, I just didn't know where I was going to buy it. I decided to stop in to Tom Wood on my lunch hour one day, just to see what they had on the lot and to kill some time fo where I was going to buy it. I was very pleased with the customer service from my salesperson, Wayne, the support staff and the Dealership, so much so that I decided not to look any further and purchase my Prius from them. - Melissa S. Buying a vehicle is always stressful. I put off the decision for awhile, just not wanting to deal with it. Now, I'm always up for a good battle when one presents itself, but purposely seeking one out i decision for awhile, just not wanting to deal with it. Now, I'm always up for a good battle when one presents itself, but purposely seeking one out is not how I function. I went in. I looked. I test drove. I left to think it over. My friends asked me of the salesperson survived the ordeal. I was very happy to report he did! Robbie was patient, helpful, informed, and did not pressure me one whit. Almost everything was handled over the phone. The entire process was very smooth and I did not have to turn into a warrior princess to get what I wanted. The finance terms were fair, my new iQ is great, and I only got two blocks from the dealership before a guy rolled down his window to tell me he liked my car. Can't get much better than that! More

I helped my widowed 72 year old mother buy a new Toyota Prius. It would be her first brand new car in 50 years. She was intimidated by the whole process so I did all the legwork - including getting pric Prius. It would be her first brand new car in 50 years. I sent out requests using cars.com and Mike McArdle of Tom Wood was one of the first to reply. He was very good at keeping in touch and made me a great deal. In the end he gave me the best price so I took my mother in to buy the car just today. What a great experience! Mike was wonderful and treated my mother with so much respect.
