Our total experience at Tom Wood Toyota was a very positive one. Our salesman, Ron Rangel-Scott was very informative and professional. One of the Finance Mangers sold a used truck to my husband, when we had yet to receive the insurance settlement on his F150 totaled in a deer collision. Instead, my husband was treated to a song & dan husband, when we had yet to receive the insurance settlement on his F150 totaled in a deer collision. Instead, my husband was treated to a song & dance , complete SMILING while he signed my husband up for a Buy-here -Pay- here, type of “loan “ at 13.04% as if my husband and myself had not purchased and paid off no less than 5 car loans. We own two homes, one in Indiana, as a matter of fact! We are as much HOOSIERS as any of the people at this dealership, and we were treated so poorly it is shameful. My husband is fighting cancer , had his vehicle totaled by an 8 point buck that weighed , most likely, as much as 300 lbs. We were in the process of receiving our settlement, we told them so. Instead my husband was led to believe that he was financing this loan through Toyota Financial Company, which my husband mistakenly believed, believed it was through The Toyota Company NOT this type of loan, which I recognized IMMEDIATELY, and had I been in THAT room with THAT person? THIS would NEVER have happened. I mentioned 5 vehicles bought & financed? 4 of those were my loan negotiations, and my husband was not there at the time. I am APPALLED that he was treated so callously & flat out, if not lied to, was led to believe these things by a very “smiley” slick Finance person, who knowing that we had driven over 100 miles to make this deal, just bent my husband over and screwed him, simple as that. Pass it along. More
