Finally, a Car After working with Sam Crowe and Tom Reisinger over several weeks, we were able to find a vehicle that we are happy with. On our way to look at a used car at another dealership farther away from where we live, our brakeline snapped. Luckily, Tom Wood Toyota was close to where we were. We very carefully drove to the Tom Wood Toyota dealership. We walked in without an appointment to see Tom. He was ready to help us out. After back and forth, they called out of the blue to offer to hold the FJ Cruiser I was coming to look at and potentially buy for the four hours it would take for me to get there. I know that used car dealers don't do this normally, and I am eternally grateful for them doing it. I bought the car and am very happy with it. It helps that they serviced it its entire life. Shady practices if not illegal This dealer negotiated a deal with us over the phone on a "New" 4Runner. We went back and forth for two days and came to an agreement on price. We drove an 1.5 hours the following day to go sign the paper work and get the 4Runner. Upon arriving we sat down with the sales manager and he says "Hey I wanted to let you know the dealership owners wife has been driving this 4 Runner.....and it has 4,400 miles on it. Needless to say we were shocked they didn't disclose this in the multiple conversations we had the day before. The sales manager tried to act like they didn't know. Come on man do you think I am that stupid. You guys had this 4 Runner on the floor and it wasn't like she drove it for a couple of days. It has 4,400 miles on it! Needless to say we didn't buy it since the price we negotiated was on a NEW vehicle. I can't remember the other guy's name who came out at the end and tried to smooth things over as we were leaving saying they don't do business this way, but I would rate him with one star as well. I'd rate with Zero stars if that was an option. It is still listed online today 11/14/19 showing it has 10 miles on it. 4Runner Limited Nightshade Midnight Metallic Black. Look it up. More
