Shady practices if not illegal This dealer negotiated a deal with us over the phone on a "New" 4Runner. We went back and forth for two days and came to an agreement on price. We drove an 1.5 hours the following day to go sign the paper work and get the 4Runner. Upon arriving we sat down with the sales manager and he says "Hey I wanted to let you know the dealership owners wife has been driving this 4 Runner.....and it has 4,400 miles on it. Needless to say we were shocked they didn't disclose this in the multiple conversations we had the day before. The sales manager tried to act like they didn't know. Come on man do you think I am that stupid. You guys had this 4 Runner on the floor and it wasn't like she drove it for a couple of days. It has 4,400 miles on it! Needless to say we didn't buy it since the price we negotiated was on a NEW vehicle. I can't remember the other guy's name who came out at the end and tried to smooth things over as we were leaving saying they don't do business this way, but I would rate him with one star as well.
