It would be really nice if JUST ONE TIME I could buy a car without ending up feeling ripped off. But no. Everything went perfectly smoothly until the very end, when I discovered they had slipped a $279 "anti-theft" insurance policy into my sales contract that I didn't need (who in their right mind would steal a 10 year old subcompact car?). Then they tried to tell me "oh, that's included with every car they sell." Well, don't let them charge you for it; in the fine print it says you're not obligated to buy it in order to purchase the car. This time, I was purchasing a budget car for someone else. But you can count on it that when it's time to trade in my personal (more expensive) vehicle, I won't go back here. More
