False advertising!! My wife and I were dealing by phone with Lee Douthitt on a preowned vehicle at this family dealership this morning. And, after some brief back-n-forth My wife and I were dealing by phone with Lee Douthitt on a preowned vehicle at this family dealership this morning. And, after some brief back-n-forth RE: a $250 deposit and no-show by another party, George Wright, the GSM, gave his approval for Lee to sell this vehicle to us after we agreed to a purchase price of $66,528 (shipping included) and I authorized a cc charge of $1,000 as a good-faith deposit. Just about 45 minutes ago, I learned that this Dealership's GSM has mis-represented the vehicle's mileage, reneged on our agreement, and personally insulted my wife on a subsequent telephone conversation with her. Poor attention to detail. Once We spoke to the Service Manager about this he put us in contact with Ernie. Ernie was fantastic and eager to help in every way. Ultimately, the car was finished after 2 more visits, but Ernie followed the process the entire way through after our initial mess. More

But after a 3 hour, condescending sales pitch with the sales manager (in which we didn't really get that great of a deal) we left with the car. Turns out that they let customers (with two little kids) leave the lot and drive 2 hours home with a seized brake caliper, destroyed rotor, and pads... and we're lucky we got home safely. The dealership sprung for part of the $2,000 repair, but not all of it, nor would they cover a rental while it was in the shop for a week. We've also noticed it now needs an alignment. In addition, we noticed right before we left that there weren't even any floor mats in the car. We were promised them, but no one has responded to our numerous follow ups about them, so I suppose we'll have to purchase those ourselves, too. I reached out to the manager a week ago...no response. I guess if you're not buying a six figure Porsche from this dealer, you're not as valued as a customer to them. More

Top Notch, Honorable Dealer. Committed to value their client What a dealership! We (I) have not a single bad thing to say about Tom Wood Porsche. I will say that the level of class and integrity that Joe Cordova What a dealership! We (I) have not a single bad thing to say about Tom Wood Porsche. I will say that the level of class and integrity that Joe Cordova, George Wright, and John Moses have shown us is bar none. These gentlemen are class acts, and true gems to have representing an automotive business. While we didn't buy one of the thoroughbred Porsche's on the lot, we did buy a used Jeep Wrangler that was not of their preferred specialty cars. Even though, our level of service was that of buying a one-off Porsche. This is somewhat unbelievable in the used car market to us, as most used car dealers we have dealt with in the past do not cater to this level of service for their non-specialty used vehicles. Here is a case example of the organization that is being run over at Tom Wood Porsche and how it is phenomenal. A few days after we purchased the vehicle the check engine light came on. It was a used vehicle, and we did not add any aftermarket warranties. We accepted the “AS IS” status when we purchased it. With that said, we called the dealer and let them know. Holding them to a statement made after we purchased it to let them know of any problems. Almost immediately, they said take it to the nearest Jeep dealer and have them call us with the recommended fix. We did just that, and sure enough they agreed to cover the cost of the fix! This right here is the definition of class and will make them first on the list for our future vehicle purchases. We buy a lot by the way. Yearly. We normally buy new for this exact reason and understand used cars will need more work than a brand new one. Although, with the way this dealer honors their commitment to service and will stand by their stock even after the sale is done, we may not be so quick to only buy new. Thank you for your commitment to exceptional service, and we cannot wait to come back for future purchases. We did have an eye on a few of your dealer’s new primary vehicles! More
