Derek is always friendly and very helpful to explain what is being done, why it should be done, and the cost effectiveness of the procedure. I certainly trust the service/parts department! Chris Van Arsdale is being done, why it should be done, and the cost effectiveness of the procedure. I certainly trust the service/parts department! Chris Van Arsdale has been most helpful getting my CDs, my phone set up and explaining how all the gingerbread on my Masima works because I was not accustomed to so many frills. Thanks for all the help from great employees!! Wilma Sukapdjo, Westfield, IN More
I came to Tom Wood after 3 years of negligent service from another Indpls Nissan dealer. I was pretty disillusioned with Nissan in general and was prepared to take any offer in order to unload my car. I from another Indpls Nissan dealer. I was pretty disillusioned with Nissan in general and was prepared to take any offer in order to unload my car. I started in the service department. Todd spent almost 3 hrs running diagnostics and came up with a two step repair plan. I was introduced to Jessica in sales who worked to give me information about purchasing and leasing as well as an appraisal of my vehicle. Given the information presented to me I felt I owed Tom Wood service the opportunity to make the necessary repairs. Cory was my liaison. He even provided me with photos in case I wanted to pursue further action against the previous dealer. Every person I worked with treated me with kindness and respect and worked to solve my problem. I'm happy to say that only the first repair was needed; my car runs and handles beautifully and I couldn't be happier. Tom Wood lost a potential new car sale with me but I will continue to use this dealership and recommend them to others. More
My wife brought her Murano into Tom Wood Nissan last week with the check engine light (we've never had any trouble before). I was a little nervous that they may try to cheat her since I wasn't there. But ins with the check engine light (we've never had any trouble before). I was a little nervous that they may try to cheat her since I wasn't there. But instead she said she talked to Cory when she dropped it off and he was very nice and didn't treat her like a stupid woman who didn't know cars. She actually said he was very nice & helpful. It was just a sensor that was out & it was under warranty, so no charges. He offered an oil change since she was due for one and told her to go the their website to get a coupon. Wow. They didn't try to charge her for extras. They even washed the car for her. Thanks for taking care of my wife & our car. More
I purchased a new vehicle in 2008, four months later the screw in my center console fell out causing it to rock back and forth, went to have it fixed, the screw was screwed back in the same hole, fell out a screw in my center console fell out causing it to rock back and forth, went to have it fixed, the screw was screwed back in the same hole, fell out again a month later, went to have it fixed and the screw was screwed back in the same hole, went back again, screw was screwed and same hole and it fell out again. Since I waited so long to call them and have it fixed again, they will not fix it without me paying for it, even though it's a problem with the way they attempted to "fix" it in the first place, I still have the extended warranty, which I was told will not cover this. They now told me I have to pay to get a diagnostics test done on my center console before they will even consider fixing it. No one is returning my calls, I put in calls to consumer affairs and even made it as high as the General Manager and I have yet to receive a phonecall back. This is the worst customer service I ever received. I will NEVER recommend TOM WOOD NISSAN to anyone I know interested in a Nissan and as far as their service department goes - they lack talent and they lack customer service. They obviously are not trained mechanics if they continue to screw a screw into a hole when it is obviously stripped. More
