Promised a good deal if I came to the dealership and did. I had dealt with three other Honda dealers trying to purchase a used Ridgeline when I called Tom Wood Honda to check on equipment on a used Ridgeline. I had dealt with three other Honda dealers trying to purchase a used Ridgeline when I called Tom Wood Honda to check on equipment on a used Ridgeline. Zachary found the answer and got back with me. A follow up call and an offer caused a trip to the dealership. We reached a deal with the best trade in value I had been offered and an out the door price that made me happy. Then they made sure my Ridgeline was washed and put $25 worth of gas in the tank. Sure makes you feel good when you get these extra perks. More

Not important once you purchase... I purchased my 2005 Honda Accord in April 2016 from Tom Wood Honda. Test drove it, seemed fine. I asked about the maintenance done on it and they proc I purchased my 2005 Honda Accord in April 2016 from Tom Wood Honda. Test drove it, seemed fine. I asked about the maintenance done on it and they proceeded to tell me about the 5 point check that the cars go through and that everything is good. I got financing and drove the car home. I took the car home on April 1st. Less than 2 weeks later, my check engine light comes on AND the car makes a ticking noise when I turn--very loud! I get the car checked out to see the issues and am told that the check engine light was for the oxygen sensor and that the ticking noise is my axles needing replaced. The cost is going to be roughly $700-$800 to fix. So, I called Tom Wood Honda to try and figure something out with them. I really was trying to be fair on both sides, because although I knew that used cars were sold AS IS, if I wanted to put $800 into a car, I would have kept my other car and not had a monthly payment. Of course, they didn't care. Not only did they not care, but they acted like they did care. The first person I talked to at Tom Wood Honda said that someone would get back to me in the next day or 2. No one did, so a few days later, I called back. Then that person said, "Sorry for delay, we will contact you back by end of day." I heard nothing back. I called back a few days later and then talked to a guy who told me about the AS IS warranty. I told him that I understood that, but it has been LESS THAN 2 WEEKS SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR! And it's not like it's a cheap fix--it's just shy of $1000! He also told me he understood but would need to get approval on this to see what they could do. I even asked that we go 50/50 on job and I would go where they want me to go. He said ok and would get back to me on that within a week. I call back a week later (because they never called me back, again). They sent me to a voice mail so I left a message. I heard nothing...so I called again. I talked to someone that time who told me that the service manager would give me a call. Each person I talked to literally had no idea what I was talking about and I had to repeat the issue EVERY TIME I CALLED! No one took any notes on my complaint--it's like when they hung up they forgot about it and figured I would let it go. I firmly believe that once I bought my car and they got my money, I was nothing to them--no longer important. Unfortunately I got tired of fighting with it, so I gave up calling. I told myself however that I would 1) NEVER purchase a car from Tom Wood again and 2) If anyone in my family / friends were interested in purchasing a car, they would hear this story. My parents, wife's grandmother and a friend of mine have all bought cars in the last year and I specifically advised them against Tom Wood. Very, very disappointed. More
