Jay was our salesman and he was super helpful at showing us the car/truck we wanted to see. I saw a 1999 Toyota Camry adver At Tom Wood honda they are driven by 3 principles Honor Integrity Loyalty. Stay away from Tom Wood Honda in Anderson. I saw a 1999 Toyota Camry advertised as a 5 speed. I needed something that was enough to get me to work and back. I was exited about the 5 speed. I paid $1500.00 for this car believing it would run and have air conditioning. I drove this car home. When I drove it to work a few days later it overheated and stalled on me within 5 miles. I was in the intersection at 96th and Binford. I was able to get it a block away from my job. I let it cool off and was able to get it a block away to my job. I came out of work and there was antifreeze all over the ground. I bought water to put in the radiator to get me home. It did not shift right at all. I checked the oil and there was no oil on the stick. I have had this Camry since April 17th of 2023. I have driven this car about 30 miles and can no longer drive it. I called and asked the dealership if they do an inspection on the used cars that they sell. Lisa said yes that they do put every car through a bumper to bumper all point inspection. Aaron Cooper called me from the dealership and will do nothing to help me but charge me to fix it. All I want is to be able to drive it to work. I now see they have a 1998 on the site for $3900 with more miles that is a 5 speed. If this Honda runs correctly why not put me in this car rather then let me feel as though I was not at all treated with loyalty, honesty, and integrity. You do not treat people like this when you have a large well known company. Tom Wood would be very disappointed if he knew. 🫵are bad. 👎👎👎 More

After purchasing a fourth family vehicle from Tom Wood they sold us a lemon on the 4th sale. Within 72 hours of purchasing said lemon, we asked them to make it right by allowing us to return the vehicle a they sold us a lemon on the 4th sale. Within 72 hours of purchasing said lemon, we asked them to make it right by allowing us to return the vehicle and transfer all monies onto a different vehicle (one that wasn't spewing antifreeze from a cracked and smashed radiator and cooling fan). They said they would work with us but not give a full allowance of monies paid unless we went way over our budget and practically bought a nearly brand new vehicle. One car we test drove had to be jump started and when we left the dealership it stalled out and would not start again. My wife, son, and I had to walk back to the dealership. Even most of their 2018 and newer vehicles had munor to major damage to them. After numerous attempts to stay within our budget the salesman, Chris, got rude and unhelpful. I spoke with management as well with no success. I informed them after making numerous vehicle purchases that we would not be returning for a 5th. Now I am stuck with a lemon that has cost me a fortune in repairs. Do not buy a car from Tom Wood Honda in Anderson Indiana unless you love being bullied and pressured into a payment that you can't afford. BUYER BEWARE! More
