Went in the other day to ask about transferring the extended warranty I had on my RAV4 to the person I was selling it too. A sales associate pushed himself on us stating that he would help us. He and another sales associate then proceeded to insult my friend who needed to use the restroom. He then proceeded to address our questions and “help us” in a demeaning and condescending tone. He “knew” what was and wasn’t the extended warranty covered and because the car in question was 7 years old and had low mileage that the warranty was no longer valid. He squawked on about how unless I had the platinum or extended coverage that the warranty was no good and that the person who I was selling the car too should be grateful that she was getting such a good deal. I looked at extended service contract when I got back home and found out that I had bought the extended service with the platinum which has a 10 year Certified Limited Warranty. I don’t know if it was because we were women or that my two friends, who I consider my family, we’re African-American women, is why we were treated so poorly. It really upsets me that I have bought 5 cars from Pappas, all new, then to be treated this bad. I strongly recommend if you are a women, a woman of color or an older person to visit another dealer. I strongly recommend to think twice about buying the extended service contracts on the Toyotas from this dealer, as it seems that they don’t want to honor the transfer of the extended warranty contracts even though it is used as a selling point to purchase these contracts. I am so disappointed in this dealership I will never purchase another car from them again or have my cars serviced by them. More
Another wonderful experience at the Pappas Toyota service department! Chris Lathangue (service advisor) and Tony Kiefer (technician) are a first rate combination. This time, while test driving my car after a muffler replacement and brake service, Tony noticed that the engine seemed like it could run a little better. Because he cares, and without charging me, he adjusted the timing slightly and the engine purrs like never before. These guys continue to impress me. More

Scheduled service w/Pappas for my 4Runner & my wife’s RAV4, service drive was receptive when we arrived. My service rep (Darin) informed us of the type of service required and showed us the waiting area RAV4, service drive was receptive when we arrived.
