I had called the dealership 3 weeks in advance to have my check engine light looked at.Also I had asked while it was there to have the oil changed. I dropped my 2016 ram 1500 the night before. The next morning I received a call from Brian from the service dept. . He had stated they could do the oil change but could not check the engine light. He stated I would have to make an appointment . I then said I had made an appointment 3 weeks prior. He went to tell me that they had fired a service rep and he is probably who I had talked to. He would see what he could do. I reached out to him again at 4:00pm . He said they haven’t looked at it and didn’t know if they had changed the oil. I told I would be there in a half hour to get my truck I need it for work. When I got to Tom Obrien to pick up the truck Brian said they had just finished the oil change. I again asked him after he repeatedly said I am sorry for the previous person’s mistake so your records showed I had no appointment. He said yes we found your appointment he misspelled your name. So I said you found my appointment but my truck still gets to the back of the line. His reply was yes our techs are just swamped. I will not ever take another vehicle to Tom Obrien nor will I buy another vehicle from Tom Obrien!!!!! More
Had to make an appointment for a minor problem 2 1/2 weeks in advance. After I took the in van for the appointment I was told that repair might take a day or two so I rented a vehicle. They did call me the same day telling me the diagnosis. I ended up driving the rental vehicle for THREE WEEKS and repairs were never performed. Ended up picking up the vehicle unfixed. Turns out the repair part needed wasn't even ordered for two weeks after they knew what the problem was. Then it was on back order. Had they been honest and told me upfront I would have picked up the vehicle sooner and not driven a rental vehicle at my expense. But instead they chose to string me along. Was told Friday, a week and a half ago (the day I picked up the vehicle) the part would be in on Monday, and I could bring it back and they would make my vehicle "a priority." Ten days later the part still isn't in, and can't get any information on when they expect delivery. Not pleased. More
Usually professional service with Paul , this time it was everything but that, with a couple other workers. I had an appt and still took 2 days. Communication was horrible. I’m angry, aggravated and upset with the poor service this dealership has shown. I have called and emailed trying to get updates on my car from Mike Hume, Dan Hutton, service personnel Brayton and Logan this dealership has shown. As of today, Mike Hume will only call my husband when I was the one that purchased the 2021 vehicle from Tom O’Brien last year. He called this morning to say the car had been repaired and was ready to pick up. We had the car maybe 10 minutes and the same check engine light was flashing again. After over a week in the service department it should be repaired. First and foremost I should not be having to deal with a new vehicle having this type of problem and secondly unprofessional service! Bottom line don’t do business with Tom O’Brien Chrysler Jeep! More
