The people their are very nice, but they DO NOT follow through. They never call back on my concerns. It has take over a year to get an issue resolved and it is still not fixed. I would not recommend EVERY buying a car from Tom Obrien. It is a waste of time and money. More

Unhappy with their customer service I purchased my 2013 Jeep Wrangler from the Greenwood Tom O'Brien in July of 2016. After 4 days of owning it, my service engine light came on. I took i I purchased my 2013 Jeep Wrangler from the Greenwood Tom O'Brien in July of 2016. After 4 days of owning it, my service engine light came on. I took it in, they kept it for the day and stated that I had to bring it in another day because they had to take out the entire transmission. I was told a brand new transmission would be installed. After their service team had it for 1 week, I received my Jeep back. They stated that they replaced a pump and a converter in the front end. A few days later, a squealing noise started coming from the front end. I was told that they could not find the squealing noise and to bring it in when the vehicle made the noise again, even though I showed their service member a video of the noise and where it was coming from.. Roughly 2 weeks later, I drove my Jeep out of state and on my way home, I could feel the brakes grinding in my foot and I could also hear them. When I attempted to come to a complete stop, my brakes completely locked up and I heard all of the air come out of my tire. My Jeep would no longer go forward, only backwards so I had my Jeep towed to Tom O'Brien, thinking this would be covered under my warranty. I was told that the caliper bolt came out and punctured my rim 3 times, but somehow this wasn't covered under my warranty and that I had to pay for all of the costs. While my Jeep was in Tom O'Brien's care, I received a phone call from their Service Manager stating that one of their service members hit my Jeep with another vehicle on accident. I was told that would be fixed by them at no cost (obviously). After everything that has happened in the past 3 months, they still charged me $611 for the repairs instead of having great customer service as they state they have. I now have my Jeep back after 1 week of them having it AGAIN. Unfortunately, I have to deal with them for another 4 years, and am regretting ever buying a $31,000 vehicle from them. More
Great experience on our 2011 and 2016 Jeep Buys! Great service. The salesman was patient and informed about the vehicles I wanted. The time to complete paperwork and financing was not very long. Expensive Mistake NOT Made Right! No Honor or Integrity Here I don’t care so much about them making a mistake, is human, and it won’t be the first time or the last time, but I expected them to be honorable and m I don’t care so much about them making a mistake, is human, and it won’t be the first time or the last time, but I expected them to be honorable and make it right! Had a rear differential bearing go bad. It took two weeks to get parts and rebuild, cost about $2300.. After rebuild (MISTAKE #1) I was informed there was a transmission problem. Their transmission expert said it was bad and needed to be replaced (MISTAKE #2), quoted cost about $4600. I took vehicle to Edwards Transmissions, next door, who was going to rebuild it for about $1000 less. They finished and it had the same transmission error code it came in with. They investigated and told me the dealership put the wrong gears in the differential. I took the Jeep back to O'Brien's to get fixed correctly. I also gave them the bill for the transmission rebuild, that was not necessary, and asked them to make it right. They fixed the differential but refuse to pay for the unnecessary transmission repair stating that if they would have done the transmission, they would have found the problem. They offered a lame credit of about $400 from differential mistake after the BBB got involved. I refused. The costs I would like them to cover include the $3800 for transmission rebuild and about $600 for the time (nearly 6 weeks) I was without a vehicle and had to pay to borrow one (Total $4400). The BBB was unable to help, the Indiana Attorney Generals Office said they technically did nothing illegal, Jeep Customer Service sided with the dealership, the Jeep Regional Manager for dealers in the area refused to get involved. So other than having the additional expense of taking the Dealership to court and suing them, who is on the side of customers getting a raw deal from a dealership with deep pockets?? Sales man is immature and your loan will be upside down I refrained from giving a bad review when I bought the Dozer Jeep because I thought it was just an isolated immature crappy salesman experience and I I refrained from giving a bad review when I bought the Dozer Jeep because I thought it was just an isolated immature crappy salesman experience and I was sure they had a better salesman somewhere. But I went to trade in my car and my loan is upside down- in addition O'Brien said they would give me a hitch and they didn't, and they put like a whole quarter of a tank of gas in when I bought it. I should've stuck with DELLEN and I will in the future. I have never had any problems with them and they always fill the tank with gas and honor any sales commitments. My guess is that the reviews on O'brien's homesite are handpicked -buyer beware. I'm sorry 0'brien, but I'm young enough to buy four or five more Jeeps, and you won't be getting any of those sales.
