My wife and I went to Masano looking for a Chevy Trailblazer that was listed on autotrader.com. While I think the practice of using a lower price on the internet is a little suspect I can't blame an Trailblazer that was listed on autotrader.com. While I think the practice of using a lower price on the internet is a little suspect I can't blame any dealer for trying to get foot traffic into their business with the way the economy is. Going to the dealership with that in the back of my mind, I was pleasantly surprised to have what I would consider my best car buying experience to date...and I have had a few. Shawn was very friendly and went to work for us to bring a good offer that we could both agree on. There were no "number games" with the trade in value and discounts on the purchase vehicle like I have experienced at other dealerships. Everything was printed out in black and white and explained with detail to us. Everyone at the dealership were very friendly and we couldn't be happier with the purchase. I would recommend Masano and Shawn Maione specifically to anyone looking for a car-buying experience that's unlike most other dealers. More
very pleasant experience with chris kratzer. Was able to come to terms on the telephone and come in and do the deal. They gave me a fair price for my trade in and provided a better loan package than our cr come to terms on the telephone and come in and do the deal. They gave me a fair price for my trade in and provided a better loan package than our credit union. This was by far my best car buying experience so far. More
This was one of the best experiences I have had when buying a vehicle. Everyone there treated me with respect. Chris Kratzer is great to work with. He is very knowlegeable and makes you feel like family buying a vehicle. Everyone there treated me with respect. Chris Kratzer is great to work with. I will also recommend Tom Masano and Chris to anyone I know who is looking for a vehicle. More
Excellent experience with the sales representative and dealership. Were able to put me into the vehicle of my choice for the right price and deliver that vehicle quickly. We originally went to the dealership to look at a used Explorer. Once we got there, we figured out that some of the features advertised (ones that I felt I needed) were not actually on the vehicle. John Explorer. Once we got there, we figured out that some of the features advertised (ones that I felt I needed) were not actually on the vehicle. John was apologetic for the internet listing and seemed genuinely irritated that it was not listed properly on the internet. He then sat down with us and listened to exactly what features we wanted, and what was a priority, and figured out exactly what type of Explorer we needed. He then determined that they had a brand new one of that type on the lot, and in the color we wanted. We had done a bit of research on Explorers, and ended up getting the price down much lower than what I had expected we could. I often get very irritated buying a new car because of dealing with the price haggling once you decide you want to buy the vehicle, but this time it was pretty painless. There are two key things that I think helped with this. One was that we were not buying with a trade, it keeps everything much cleaner and they are able to give you a better deal I believe when they don't have to take a trade. Second was that we did our research, and went there prepared to buy if we found exactly what we wanted. They will jump much higher if you tell them you want it now. I have owned GM's my entire life, so I was very nervous switching to Ford. But my overall experience there helped smooth the transition. I got a follow up call from John within a few days to see if I had any questions on it and how things were going. Overall I felt like I was treated respectfully and fairly. More
Shisters............False Advertisers. Sales person Shisters............False Advertisers. Sales person indicated that the price on the computer was trade-in price & if you were buying cash you had to Shisters............False Advertisers. Sales person indicated that the price on the computer was trade-in price & if you were buying cash you had to add $1,900 to the internet price, so then we went back & indicated we wanted to trade & they gave us a quote on our car & still used the higher price not the internet price & they told my husband the only reason they have a lower price is to get it put on the top of the list of cars on Autotrader.com & also when we got home I looked at the verbage written & it indicated that the $1,900 was included in the internet price for cash or trade-in buyers. Talk about a scam how can they get away with this Better Business Bureau needs to know about this. A 2 hour trip to Reading to be treated like this....... More
I brought my Lincoln in to the dealership for a 60K service. I asked them to look at a slight hesitation and my bass amp. I also told them NOT to use the standard oil for the oil change. I purchased service. I asked them to look at a slight hesitation and my bass amp. I also told them NOT to use the standard oil for the oil change. I purchased Mobile 1 synthetic oil. That is what I want in the car. I dealt with Nolan in the service department. When I picked my car up I was charged an extra $80 for them to look at my bass amp. I was never told that I would be charged extra after bringing my car in for a $275.00 service. I asked Nolan to please explain why I was charged this extra fee. He sad with an attitude "what do you think, we work for free?". Then he began to snicker at me. I was floored. I told him i did not expect then yo work on my car foe free but I feel I should have made aware of any extra charges. He then said "why would you think we would do it for free?" He then said what do you want me to do? I asked him to take the extra fees off the bill. He refused. After arguing and being insulted to the point of feeling like a piece of crap, he grabbed the paperwork out of my hand and said "I will take the extra fees off so I don't have to deal with you!". I said thank you and paid the bill. When I got to my car I noticed they charged me for oil and did not use my synthetic but used the standard oil I specifically told them not to. I went back in and told them of the error. Nolan said "Oh, they should have used your oil". That was it. My lovely experience with Nolan and the Tom Masano dealership. I will NEVER bring my car to them and will make it a point to inform anyone who asks of my nasty experience. More
This dealer falsely advertised his car by $1900 and when we spoke up about the difference in price his sales pitch was very high pressured. We were not prepared to make a decision about the car on the spot we spoke up about the difference in price his sales pitch was very high pressured. We were not prepared to make a decision about the car on the spot especially after experiencing the price difference. We will not be returning for any reason. The showroom was also less than desirable. It was the Al Bundy of auto dealers. More
