From the time I pulled into the parking lot up until the time that I had left, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the dealership as well as the condition of the facilities. The price and selection first brought me to the dealership. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Dottie. So refreshing to have a salesperson who was not going for the hard sell! My husband and I were very satisfied with the Salesman (Mike Ludwig), but the detailing of the car was horrible. There was trash left between the drivers seat and the console and the passenger seat and t (Mike Ludwig), but the detailing of the car was horrible. We would have called the dealership and complained because we were so disappointed with the detail job, but we really liked our salesman so we just let it go. Mike Ludwig was very friendly and patient the whole time, we did not feel pressured into anything. If we need to buy another car we will defiantly go back to Mike Ludwig. More
Mike Ludwig was a very nice person to work with. He was understanding and gave it his all. He couldn't have been more helpful. This is the third car in a row that I have bought from the Tom Masano Dealership. I have always been happy with the service at this dealership, but this time it was even better than expected. The sales consultant that we dealt with - Mike Ludwig - was exceptional. He put no pressure on us to make a decision, he answered all of our questions, and got us a great price! If I had to recommend this dealer, it would be for price only. And to people with excellent credit, looking to buy a NEW car, not used. I have had experiences in the past with my not-so-great credit and other dealerships treating me like dirt so I did my homework and secured financing BEFORE I went into this dealership. I am SO GLAD that I did. I had an "appointment" with Randy on a Thursday night. I'm not sure why I was given to him since he was trying to finalize three sales at once and never gave us his full attention. There were other sales reps there who were not busy so again, this confuses me. Luckily, I had done my homework, knew what I wanted and knew what I wanted to spend so I was basically there to get a car, do paperwork and take it home. Randy came back to me with a price per month that was way over what I had calculated with my own financing and I had to remind him that I had my own financing. Good thing I did! I was willing to overlook the fact that that they sent me home (almost 40 miles away) with an empty gas tank. I had to take some title paperwork home to be signed by my ex-husband and agreed to bring it back the next day (Friday). The financing person (I forget his name) said that he would call me if they could get a better financing rate than what I brought in. I assumed they would call me back either way. They didn't. (surprise, surprise). I left a message for Randy, he didn't return my call. (surprise, surprise). When I returned to the dealership to return the paperwork, Randy was busy (again) and I was told that they could not secure me better financing than what I had. I was completely fine with that but I would have liked to have been able to talk to someone about the fact that they sold me a car with a bald tire. I should have realized it before I signed the paperwork. It was dark by the time I had chosen this car (the third car I looked at that evening) and hadn't noticed until I got it home. No one was available to talk to me. So quite frankly, I'm not sure that used car buyers with not-so-great credit, and their own financing are always treated like this but I guess it is what it is. I'll buy a tire. More
I found this dealership by accident while searching for a late model Toyota 4Runner on the internet. I was prepared to travel within a 100 mile radius for the right deal and was pleasantly surprised to fing late model Toyota 4Runner on the internet. I was prepared to travel within a 100 mile radius for the right deal and was pleasantly surprised to fing a late model, low mileage, competitively priced vehicle at Tom Masano Ford in Reading (I live near Harrisburg). The salesman, John Clemente, was very professional, accommodating and cordial. He allowed me to thoroughly check out the vehicle at my leisure and responded cheerfully with every request i.e. Car Fax, maintenance record, etc. There were no high pressure sales pitches or obnoxious sales tactics. The dealership was clean, neat & comfortable (with the best fresh coffee machine around :-) So far so good. After determining that I really really wanted this 4Runner (advertised as "out of the wrapper,' and they weren't kidding), John and I got down to negotiations. Now, this is the part in all my previous car buying experiences where the salesperson and I usually end up with severe migraines before striking a deal or I end up walking out! Much to my surprise (again), the negotiations were very simple, straightforward and professional. The vehicle was very competitively priced already (which is why I ended up there in the first place). We negotiated the trade-in with the manager’s approval and sealed the deal. I felt like I had been dealing with one of my brother-in-laws (the nicer one:-) This car buying experience was the best ever and I’ve bought a few cars in my 56 years. I was impressed with their fair and reasonable pricing, willingness to deal and total professionalism. We absolutely love the 4Runner and the deal we got! I would definitely consider Masano Ford first when I go to buy my next car! More
