I was looking for a certain 2012 Honda. Being late in 2012, I had to search 6 states to locate the vehicle I wanted. After finding the vehicle at Tom Kadlec Honda in Rochester, MN, I contacted Andy Gosto 2012, I had to search 6 states to locate the vehicle I wanted. After finding the vehicle at Tom Kadlec Honda in Rochester, MN, I contacted Andy Gostomczik for a price quote. He called me back within 5 minutes and offered me a good price, which was the price I ended up paying for the vehicle. The price was so low, and I had so many other deals to comparte it to, that no negotiation was needed. It was not the lowest price quoted, but close enough for the vehicle I desired. Andy and I only had to speak several times before we had secured a deal on the new car and my trade-in. I was only at the dealership for about 1-hour as Andy had made all the preparations for a smooth transaction based on our telephone discussions. If you are looking for a new Honda, I would suggest giving Andy Gostomczik a call at Tom Kadlec Honda, 877-660-8363. I traveled 5 hours one-way to pick-up my vehicle and would do it again tomorrow. This was the most positive new car experience I have ever had and I am old (grumpy), frugal (cheap), and very customer service centric. More

I purchased a 2003 Audi A4 from them on Aug. 4, 2012. The sale went great. The staff was friendly and informative about the car. When they accessed the value my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, the appraisal was exactly what I thought the car was worth. I left feeling that I had received a great deal on a car I really liked. It wasn’t until later that same day that another motorist stopped and told me the car was burning smoke. I had my wife with me at the time and had rev the engine to see if it coming from the engine. There was no smoke coming from the exhaust so I thought the motorist was mistaken. It wasn’t until I looked under the car and notice a puddle of oil forming under the car. I added a quart of oil to get oil back into the engine. We got home and I called the dealership about the problem. Unfortunately, the sales manager was out so there wasn’t anything that could be done until later as far as addressing the issue. In the meantime, I asked my neighbor to see if we could get an idea where the leak was located. We put car on the lift and removed the bottom skid plate to get look under the car. Looking it over, it appeared that the oil was coming from the front-crank case seal. When I spoke with the sales manager to decide how to address the issue, I was given two options. Since I did not purchase an extended warranty, they would be willing to redo my paper work and add the warranty. Otherwise, they would only cover $300 to fix the issue. While going trying to decide on what to do, the manager gave a speech about how they need to make $1500-$2000 per car, which left me feeling as if they were more interested in profit then standing behind their product. It would be three weeks before I could come up with money to fix the car so I opted for the extended warranty. The car was picked up and I told them where to look for the leak. I called the dealership to see what they found and was told that the leak was coming from the valve cover gasket and that the car would be ready Friday afternoon. My wife picked up the car and drove it home. She smelled some oil but figured it was either burning off the remaining oil or was coming from another car. When she got home, she looked under the car and found oil dripping from under it. The first time the car leaked I wasn’t happy, but the second time down right made me mad. My wife took the car to a local shop and they found that the leak was coming from front crankcase seal and was a quart and half short. After finding this out I started to have my doubts that the oil leak was a bad coincidence, but I was sold a car that was not in working order. The car was picked up again to fix a leak that I pointed out but was told was leaking from somewhere else. We picked up the car a week later and the best that the service department could up with was “Sorry for the inconvenience”. Before leaving, I looked under the car and no oil. I also drove around town and stopped several times to make sure no oil was leaking before driving the 40 miles home. Two months later, still no leak so after the second attempt, the leak was finally fixed. I realize that you can’t make everyone happy when dealing with many different types and backgrounds that Tom Kadlac must see, but the experience I had with them is nothing short of unacceptable coming from a dealership that is accredited by the Better Business Bureau. I have four kids soon to be driving and my wife is looking to replace her car as well. If Tom Kadlec had stood by their car, they would have received about $7500-$10000 of repeat business with my family alone, but after my ordeal, I’ll never buy another car from them or have a vehicle serviced by them.
