One of the best experience I have had buying a car, took in a competitors add and just as they promised they matched the add and then took off another $500.00 without question. They were kind and very forth in a competitors add and just as they promised they matched the add and then took off another $500.00 without question. They were kind and very forthcoming on all the information I requested and handle my finances as well beating the rate I could get through my credit union. I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone ! More
We puchased our 2010 Traverse in June 21, 2011. From the start, we have loved the car by Tom Gill Chevrolet is another issue. We are of the opinion we should have bought it some place else. We had to bri start, we have loved the car by Tom Gill Chevrolet is another issue. We are of the opinion we should have bought it some place else. We had to bring the car back the second morning we had it because of all the trash under the rear seats. We brought it in for the first service had to pay for the 18 month service. We waited at that service for more than 45 minutes for the car to be brought up after we paid the cashier. Randy Rommus was notified and he rectified the situation somewhat by giving us a credit on the service. However, I had to call the accounting department 60 days later to see if the credit was issued. Today, December 23, 2011, we met two (2) people at Tom Gill who were very professional. Michael Monday had the servicing of the car and the repair of the flat tire to the highest result we could expect. Tom Gill's after 4 PM service is the only way to go. There is no one in the service area other than Mr. Monday that I would consider trusting with our service at this time. He was great!! The second person was Dennis Booth in the Collision Center. He is another great professional. We scheduled an appointment for repair on January 3, 2012. If there are more professionals like these two (2) gentlemen at Tom Gill, we might change our mind about where we purchased the car. Wayne Michels Florence, Ky 859-282-7822 More
Mitch was very friendly and helpful with helping me figure out what automobile I wanted to buy for my daughter to drive to college. He was especially helpful with a practical joke on my daughter when figure out what automobile I wanted to buy for my daughter to drive to college. He was especially helpful with a practical joke on my daughter when we showed a 1996 Grand Am instead of the 2012 Chevy Cruz and made the auto purchase a memorable moment. Thank you to you and the rest of the sales team that pitched in unselfishly to have a little fun along with getting business done. More

We test drove the cars we selected and told him what we thought about the car. He gave us his opinion and directed us to other autos to test drive. Thanks to his guidance and help I made a purchase based on one of the autos we test drove. I selected a 2010 Malibu and love it very much. In fact, my husband enjoys driving it also. Much thanks to Jeff Woods for his personnel attention and suggestions in the purchase of my new auto. More

Finally writing a review from my 2008 Buick Enclave purchase in June of 2011. I was fortunate to work with Floyd Marshall. Floyd was very professional, sincere and listen to my situation with intenti purchase in June of 2011. I was fortunate to work with Floyd Marshall. Floyd was very professional, sincere and listen to my situation with intention of helping me buy the right automobile for my family. I was pleasantly surprise of the thoughtfulness and professionalism of Tom Gill staff. I would recommend you give this dealership a chance to earn your business. I would agree the employees push the Tom Gill Advantage Warranty. But if you think about it, the plan does provide some value. There is nothing wrong with building a relationship with a business who takes good care of their customers and stays in business of the years. More
Tom Gill has the gimmick game down pat. You cannot even look at a car until they take your contact info and tell them what you are there to look at. They go thru a 15 minute spiel on the "Tom Gill Advanta look at a car until they take your contact info and tell them what you are there to look at. They go thru a 15 minute spiel on the "Tom Gill Advantage". It seems that everything must go thru the sales manager, they cannot even get a key for a car without seeing the manager. After 20 mins of sitting inside and not even seeing what I came for they finally brought a car up front to see. I told them what I wanted to see and they brought around a car that I simply did not want. Instead of the trim level I wanted, they brought up a top of the line LTZ, out of my interest and price range. I was dealing with a salesman who had a whopping 1.5weeks of experience and he knew nothing about the cars. I finally just walked over to the line of Equinoxes and picked one ot look at and asked him to get a key for that. He did and we drove the car. I loved the car but wanted to do some research on the trim levels and options. The dealer had no info on the cars, no brochures. I went back a few days later and the salesman I worked with the first visit completely forgot me. I even had an appt set up to see him. He just looked at me blankly and tried to act like he remembered but he obviously didn't. I got another salesman and he had a whopping 2 weeks of experience. I drove a car with him and my wife along this time. When we went to leave they asked again if we could talk with a sales manager before leaving to thank us for coming in. Or let me say the truth, try to sell you one today without leaving. The sales manager made me sit and wait to meet him while I watched him eat a salad in his office while laughing it up with another employee. The only way I got him out there was by threatening our salesman that we were leaving in 30secs if he didn't get out there. He dropped his salad then and came out. It was then that he lied to us about some financial matters with the car. I will spare the deatils but he flat lied to us straight faced. He told us the dealer made no money on a customer with the GM Supplier Discount and that was a GREAT deal on a car. We left and never went back. This dealership was not a good fit for us and the salesmen that I met in our visits. I think the need to focus more on cars and less on trying to convinve you that the dealership has so many advantages over other dealerships. I found a better fit elsewhere. I did receive a very kind apology from Tom Gill after this so I would give them another chance in the future. More
