I purchased my new truck from Tom Ahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. It was a great experience from the start. Josh, Mindi and Tom Brown were as always very helpful and exceeded my expectations once again. My trade-in had been appraised and I was happy with the price. I had some health issues arise and was not able to pursue the truck at that time. I told Josh I was sorry. He could not care less about me buying a truck and was more concerned about my health. I was more than just a customer to the whole Tom Ahl family. I was able to pursue the truck again in late October. Josh had the used car mananger look at my trade-in again since it been more than a month since my last visit there. To my surprise it was more than before. How often would you see that at other dealerships? The truck I wanted was at another dealership and Tom Ahl arranged, traded and picked up my truck-at no extra cost-at the other dealership the next business day. When I was at Tom Ahl I had multiple employees asked how I was doing-not in general-but because I had to have brain surgery. My loving wife and I have purchased our last six vehicles-including this truck-at Tom Ahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Mindi was as always a breath of fresh air. She was able to secure us an interest rate lower than advertised on the banks website. I want to thank Josh, Mindi and Tom Brown for their hardwork and positivity. Had a great sales experience with Todd Johnson. We first touched base with him when he came out in the pouring rain to see if there was any way he could help as we were just checking our the lot. He was easy to work with and helped us in making the decision as to whether to buy new or used. He was very helpful in allowing us to determine what was the best vehicle for us. There are a lot of strong reviews here in favor of Tom Ahl dealerships, but I'm afraid I'm not feeling the love. I checked out a used vehicle at the "Ahl under 10" lot. Despite the staff all being frien Ahl dealerships, but I'm afraid I'm not feeling the love. I checked out a used vehicle at the "Ahl under 10" lot. Despite the staff all being friendly and easy to talk to, and the car being nice to boot, I was not pleased with what they were offering. I think they could tell I was "green" in my buying experience and wanted to push me around a little. They absolutely refused to budge on the sticker price. However, they did budge on the offer for my trade in vehicle, and increased that to a satisfactory level, and this was because another salesman had the say in it. Although the price wasn't too terrible on the car, it just amazed me that they wouldn't come down a few hundred dollars to sell this car to me. That's all it would take. They wouldn't even make a counter offer, which surprised me. The reason I persisted was because I know that you can find the same car cheaper elsewhere. I know dealers mark up their used cars. They have to make money somehow, and I understand they have to make a living, but people have budgets as well. I think the salesman forgot that for the hour that I was there and he was unwilling to work with mine. Again, I think it was in part because I was green and didn't know what to expect, but I hope the salesman asks himself if 200 dollars was really worth losing a customer, perhaps many. I told them where I wanted to be and they just wouldn't get there. I certainly won't refer my friends or family to them. More
I was in the market for a newer Jeep Commander and saw a beautiful 2010 at this dealership. I live in Columbus, and most of the work was done over the phone with Bill Hoffman. Tom Ahl (dealership owner) takes the time to meet customers; make no mistake, even though this is a family dealership it's not small time. My salesperson, Trevor Howery, was broadly knowledgeable on a wide variety of different makes as well as had a great knowledge of what cars are on the lot. He was friendly, professional, likeable, laid back (no pressure) and patient as I considered three different makes and changed my mind after one test drive. The business manager, Mindi, was great in helping me get financing and make wise decisions about extended warranty, no pressure, just honest facts presented in an easily understandable manner. I drove two hours from Columubs because of the inventory. Closed the deal start to finish in less than one hour after I decided on the vehicle I wanted. I would rate this as my best car buying experience ever; even better than Carmax. Definitely worth my drive from Columubs. More

This is the tale of a potential horror story with a happy ending. My wife Sandy and I are on vacation in our 2011 Sonata Limited with 27900 mi when stoping for gas the car wouldn't start. Now for the second time (1st at 9500mi)the brake switch failed (12.00 retail part)and we had to be towed to dealer Tom Ahl at 1:30pm. Tom Ahl's service advisor Adam Booms was was very gracious an worked us into his schedule so as not to disrupt our vacation. The switch was fixed and we asked to have car serviced while there. A problem was found with the right front brake and rotor. The service tech Eric Ream was very observent. This car has been to Larry Miller dealership in Phoenix at least THREE times for a break noise....answer was all Hyundai's have a break noise. So we drove it. After replacing rotor and brake pads all is well!!! much to our surprise there is a chunk of foreign material from factory in the middle of of the brake pad. Now to fight dealer (Larry Miller-Phoenix) and Hyundia for warentee work. We were so happy with Adam and Eric they worked diligently to get us back on the road at 5:30 pm, so we could continue to PA to see our family there! This is what a dealership should be like!! More
