My wife and I are newly married, new parents and were in need of a vehicle that met our needs and desires. We decided that we wanted a Ford Escape and had been watching their price drop online for the past need of a vehicle that met our needs and desires. We decided to get pre-approved through the credit union she financed her first vehicle from. They came back with an approval of $20,000 at 12.49%. I took my pre-approval to one of the few lots I had physically visited and found the nearly perfect fit. A 2008 Ford Escape Limited, 4WD, and just out of reach of our budgeted monthly payment we would have with the rate on the credit union pre-approval. Tony Cole their manager brought the price down just enough and found me a new loan at 9.4% over the same term and dropped the monthly payment back into our comfort zone. Once we decided on the car he handeled the sales pricing with dignity and respect for me and my wife. We decided on a fair price and finished the deal without haggling several times or going back and forth with the sales manager. Bill is knowledgeable, helpful and went the extra mile as did Tina in the finance department. The service department was exceptional as well. Being technologicaly challenged I knew the blue tooth was not working properly. I took it in, received a loaner car for the day and not only is my Blue Tooth working great they found a warranty item that needed to be taken care of as well and did it on the spot! I have since referred a friend to Lakewood Ford to see Bill and will continue to do so. More

In the past, I've never been a big proponent of "taking the car to the dealership" but when I got my 2010 Mustang... I felt it was the proper thing to do, because it is under warranty, and I want to keep the car to the dealership" but when I got my 2010 Mustang... The people at Lakewood Ford's Service department (In particular, I have dealt with Tim Land) have made a believer out of me when it comes to "taking the car to the dealership." They are what I would call "old school" when it comes to customer service. They greet you with a smile, talk to you like a person, keep you informed about what is going on with your car. They clearly have a passion for their work, and they pass that feeling on to the customers. I am actually a little bit saddened that I will be leaving the area soon, because even though I don't have many occasions where I need to bring the Mustang to the dealership, I will miss doing so. I only hope that the Ford service crew down in the Fort Rucker area of Alabama are as personable, and professional as the people at Lakewood Ford. I indeed went there and Ray hooked me up with an Awesome price on the Ranger and then let Marcus take over the trade in and such. We looked at a car down South Tacoma way, and I was able to drive a sweet car! I forgot the name of it. The car I got is Amazing on gas, and Im glad I did it! In fact, I would rate Ford at the top of all of these brands. Our recent visit to Lakewood Ford was no exception. We were pulled in by an internet ad for a gorgeous mint-condition TBird. Not only was the ad spot-on in its description, the sales people immediately answered all of our questions and set us up with Marcus, a relatively new salesperson, who did everything right. We were very impressed with him, the Manager, and the ease of the transaction. We feel like they got a good deal on our trade-in and a good price on their TBird, and we got a fabulous new car and a fabulous experience. I would definitely recommend Lakewood Ford and Marcus. Other Ford dealers in our area have been equally wonderful--one even offered to teach my daughter how to drive a stick at vehicle pick-up. (She already knew how, but was impressed by the thoroughness and carry-through of sale.) I love Ford! More
