Great Experience I saw an F150 on the Lakewood Ford website. I emailed Bob Mitzel with follow up questions and he got back to me very timely. I stopped by on a Saturd I saw an F150 on the Lakewood Ford website. I emailed Bob Mitzel with follow up questions and he got back to me very timely. I stopped by on a Saturday and Bob answered all my questions very throughly. There was no pressure at all during the sale which I greatly appreciated. No Interest In Helping You After They Sell You a Car! The old saying goes "Buyer Beware" applies to this dealership. Very attentive when a potential customer is in the market for a new or used car. After The old saying goes "Buyer Beware" applies to this dealership. Very attentive when a potential customer is in the market for a new or used car. After the sale services SUCKS! I bought a "certified" 2015 car from this dealership and 4 months down the road discovered a trim piece that had been replaced beforehand incorrectly. I stopped by to discuss and was told "no problem" that the dealership would ship me a replacement trim piece. Well after 4 more phone calls and four months later, I STILL haven't received the trim piece. I should correct myself, and say that after the first two months I did receive a part in the mail, but low and behold it was the wrong part. Not even sure what part of the car this piece goes on. When I called to explain the situation, once again I was told "no problem, we'll get the correct piece mailed out right away". Well,.... 45 days later and two more phone calls, I still am waiting for the part. Next phone call is going to be ugly, and I may never get the part sent to me, but I will fell better about the situation. Tried being the "good person" here but it's getting me absolutely nowhere. More
Beware of the lack of Service in the "Service" department Beware when purchasing a vehicle at Lakewood Ford that the service that will be done by them during the time that you own your vehicle will be less th Beware when purchasing a vehicle at Lakewood Ford that the service that will be done by them during the time that you own your vehicle will be less than satisfactory. I have purchased numerous vehicles from this company and sent many friend and family here as well to buy vehicles but the company falls short when it comes to service of your vehicle. They are unable to repair most items the first time they make an attempt to fix your car and then require additional diagnostic fees and additional repair costs each time you bring your vehicle back stating that some other additional part has now failed. I had the air conditioning system in my 2011 Ford Fusion discharge in my garage and had the refrigerant pumped through my house. This happened while the car was still under extended warranty so supposedly the entire system was evaluated and the condenser was replaced, system recharged. Now I go to use my A/C yesterday and it doesn't work, the service department diagnosis the problem and low and behold a fitting on one of the hoses from the hard line to the rubber hose is bad so it will now cost $750 to have fixed. I find it funny that they did not find this issue when pressure testing the system when it was fixed before. This is not to mention that as soon as the Fusion is fixed I will be taking my 2011 Ford Explorer back in to have it fixed because for the 5th time in less than 1.5 years the airbag light has come back on. Save yourself the trouble and buy from a dealership that has a competent service department that doesn't justify their existence by price gouging their customers. More
Excellent Customer Service Suzie has been my Service Writer ever since this facility opened. She knows my Explorer better than i do. Last week I walked in and she said, You ne Suzie has been my Service Writer ever since this facility opened. She knows my Explorer better than i do. Last week I walked in and she said, You need an Oil change right? I said how did you know and she replied, because I have seen you in awhile. Now this is personal service!!!. I have come in with a tail light out and the technician fixes it on the spot and I only pay for the bulb. When the car has need more lengthy service, Suzi always manages to find me a loner car. When I do come in for minor service and wait, they have an incredible waiting room with free WiFi and a big screen TV. Please a large window that looks out onto the service floor where you can watch you car being taken care of. They have nice easy chairs, table and even a computer work bench. Free coffee and Popcorn. This is The Best car Service Department I have ever dealt with. More
