Friendly, polite staff, but wouldn't budge on pricing. Called them up to purchase a used vehicle they had listed. Told them I didn't want to hassle on pricing as I was paying cash and would pay them exact Called them up to purchase a used vehicle they had listed. Told them I didn't want to hassle on pricing as I was paying cash and would pay them exactly what they are asking for the vehicle I wanted, but I was not going to pay any extra fees on top of that (except for legally required Tax, Tag, and Title fees). They said that they have an additional $650 documentation fee that is non-negotiable and they charge on every car purchase. Told them I wasn't willing to pay that so they either need to remove it, or reduce the vehicle price by that amount. They wouldn't do either so I told them I was no longer interested. The salesman, who was friendly and polite throughout the conversation, then proceeded to claim that they were selling the car for less than they paid for it on trade in and the actual value was even higher than that. A simple glance at auto trader dot com reveals that the current asking price of that vehicle (similar vehicles in the same general area) is not thousands of dollars higher, as he claimed; and if they really paid more for it on a trade-in than their current asking price, then they don't know how to conduct business so I highly doubt that statement was correct. Dishonest I was trying to find a specific vehicle and they had one listed. It was a one year old $45,000 vehicle. I drove two hours to see it, so I came with cas ready to buy. In the photos they showed one tire in good shape which seemed to be indicative of all the tires. I asked the salesman over the phone if all tires were the same and in good condition and he said yes. When I got there 3 of the tires were bald. I finally got them to replace the tires but not without getting everyone from the manager down involved. The day I went to get the car was a rainy day. The cor was filthy inside and out. I asked if they’d run it through the car wash and they said it was closed. When I got it home I realized why they didn’t want to clean it. There were scratches all over. Some were deep. I was very disappointed in this dealership. More
