Brianna helped us out with our battery issues and explained the diagnostic for our check engine light. The overall experience was great. If I could be nit picky on anything it would be the follow up. More

Gosch Service However, I originally told the person checking me in that I had an engine light and a service the high voltage charging system message. Which online research said was 90% of the time related to a low liquid level in the battery coolant reservoir. I had previously checked the level and it was 1 1/2 inches low. So I told him to top off the fluid levels and reset the computer message. The service writer said it was an electrical problem and had to go to the electrical specialist technician and I had to sign for a minimum of $350. for a diagnostic fee which would be applied towards repairs if needed. So, I signed and left the car. I also had the online sales to do a trade in inspection on my 2017 Volt while the car was in the shop. The next morning I received a video showing the so called “free” safety check showing that my car might lead an alignment and there might be a leaking boot on one of the drive wheels. Later I received a call from the service person saying to do everything, replacing the boot, wheel alignment, and exchanging the coolant by flushing the system would be $3800. I explained that there has never been fluid under the car so I didn’t want that boot replaced. I was also thinking of purchasing a new car from your dealership, So, I said let’s wait on the wheel alignment. He said the fluid service alone was $850 to just flush the system . I asked him if he could just top it off and reset the computer code. He said that I shouldn’t add new fluid to the old. I replied why not? He said he had to check with the technician. I said, do that. I received another call saying it was ok to add the fluid and reset the code but since I signed the work order for $350. That would be the cost but he would He said the adding of fluid is preventative maintenance and not covered by the eight year battery and electric power warranty but he would see what he could do about the price. The next call an hour later, was that the car was ready and that the technician pressure tested the system for 20 mins. The price was readjusted to $289.50. So, I feel that I have be railroaded and unnecessarily paid a much higher price for hardly anything based on a so called free inspection. I can purchase my own fluid, fill the reservoir with 4-6 Oz. Of fluid and do a pressure test and never pay $289.50. I feel that that the excess money should have been applied for an oil change and a wheel alignment. Why have a useless 8 year warranty and a forced on electrical diagnostic fee to add a few ounces of fluid to a reservoir. Sincerely, Raymond Hugabone
