A VERY UNDERSTANDING WITH A SINCE OF CARING SALES PERSON I was just on my way to work about 8:00 am Tuesday morning, when I heard a terrible noise in my car. I immediately called my job to let them know I was on my way to my dealer because my car was not running well and I thought it may have something to do with those 4 recalls I had. I was really afraid to drive it but I didn't have much choice. I was told it would cost about $2500 to fix my car so I decided to see is I could purchase a new car. That's when I met Devin Lindsey. I explained to him I was not prepared for this but I would look at what he had to offer. He was very patient and caring, as if he knew exactly what I was going through. I wasn't sure what to do but I believe in God and I asked him to pray with me and he did. I'm sure I was not an easy customer, but in spite of all my rejections he remained calm and understanding. He's a good sales person, not pushy or opinionated. He explained as well as showed me how some of the features worked and helped me set up On Star and Sirius Radio. He understood the type of job that I had been entrusted with and never stopped until I was extremely happy. He continued to work until time for him to get off....yet he never stopped. I was tired, had not eaten dinner and I was at the end of long day. Devon smiled and say Mrs. Butler waited! Devin asked me to wait one minute, I stood at the front door, and waited. Here comes Ms. Holly Vansil with Devin. She asked me to tell her what I wanted so I did! I wanted a vehicles with a navigational system, comfort, beauty, and a car note not higher than the one I already had. I had negative equity on my vehicle so lots of work had too be done. Ms. Holly said I have a vehicle for you!!! I waited until Devin came back with a vehicle and he opened the door and I was ready to get in and go!!!! It was cold outside and the heated seat were a dream...the ride was so comfortable and the extras made my long day more enjoyable. Heated seats, sun roof, navigational system, leather seats, back up camera, etc. I was sold!!! Ms. Holly worked on the finance charge with grace and a pleasant smile. It's 9:00pm and closing time. Ms. Holly asked me to call Devin in the morning with a confirmation on whether I wanted to purchase the vehicle. When I arrived home, my husband said what did you think... I explained with excitement all the features this vehicle had, my husband was amazed. I texted Devon that night with a yes!!! The next day Ms. Holly worked on the finance charge and I could not have been happier. Finance charge was lower than what I was currently paying. The negative equity did not take my payments over what I was already paying. I was blessed beyond measure of the wonderful service that I was extended at Tim Lally. Jason from finance worked extremely hard to ensure that all the work that had been done on the front end did not go down the drain. Jason found saving under his desk and the that made the deal even sweeter. The maintain package was higher than I could afford so I could only pick a few things, YET I was extremely happy and grateful. I truly believe that God blesses His children with a few pleasures of this world. I am grateful , blessed and extremely happy with this vehicle. Great experience from sales to service I have purchased several vehicles over the years through Tim Lally Chevrolet, and I have always had the best experience in doing so. Everyone I encounter in the dealership always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. The person with whom I deal on a regular basis there is Brian Lightner. Brian has always given me a fair deal and provided me with service for my vehicles, whether it is for the body shop, service or parts (yes, I have used all of these services). Two years ago, my wife's vehicle was rear-ended and we got EVERYTHING taken care of at Tim Lally: the body shop repaired the vehicle, provided us with a rental vehicle and dealt with all of the insurance companies involved, only leaving us with drop off and pick up of our car. It was great! I cannot say enough good things about Tim Lally Chevrolet, the people in which they employ and the great service that I have received in all areas they provide. I will be back here in a few months when my son is ready for his first car and I have peace of mind knowing that we can go to a place we trust. More

Deceit and Fraud DECEIT & FRAUD – BUYER BEWARE Tim Lally Chevrolet has a foundation based on deceit, incompetence, and fraud. Tim Lally charges for items that don DECEIT & FRAUD – BUYER BEWARE Tim Lally Chevrolet has a foundation based on deceit, incompetence, and fraud. Tim Lally charges for items that don’t need to be replaced and surreptitiously increase the bill for services that are based on incompetence and deceit. In addition, their supervisor Mark Rigby, will be sure to scream at you and denigrate you in front of other employees. Caught red-handed, Tim Lally is unwilling to resolve their mistakes, and invites you to take them to court. Before buying or taking your vehicle to Tim Lally, look up how many lawsuits they’ve been involved in (its public record) and consider my story below. I recently took my vehicle to Tim Lally because my check engine light was on and my vehicle wasn’t running correctly. After a diagnostic, I was initially told that replacing a sensor (costing nearly $750) would completely resolve the problem. In addition, the service manager convinced me to also replace a solenoid that ostensibly would go bad in the future. So, I agreed to the $1,600 in repairs based on the promise, and diagnostic, that I would be on my merry little way once the repairs were completed. Unfortunately, the repairs did nothing, and I’m in the same position as I was when I brought the vehicle in. After paying for parts and services that were ultimately superfluous, Tim Lally then claimed that the problem was due to some other mechanical problem - an additional $4,200. What! At this point, they had my vehicle for a week, and no way was I going to spend another $4,200 for something that should have been diagnosed from the start. So, I did what anyone else would do, I asked for a refund for the unneeded services that were already performed and planned on taking my vehicle to a more competent repair shop. I took off work to pick up my vehicle and figured they would be apologetic about the situation. Boy was I wrong. After talking to the service manager, I was quickly taken back into an office away from other customers. Supervisor Mark Rigby immediately closed the door and began to yell and scream demanding payment for repairs. He said “I don’t care what you do or what your story is, pay the money or take me to small claims.” I realized that it was Mark’s conscious effort to try and get me to yell back, but I wasn’t going to bring myself down to that level. Every time I spoke, I was interrupted and yelled at some more. He even went as far as making denigrating comments about my reputation – but this is the first time I met the guy. (By the way, I realized quickly that Mark Rigby was unwilling to resolve the issue so I quickly started to record the conversation. A blog and recording will be linked to this complaint) Instead of refunding me for repairs that supposedly would solve my problem, I was given only one choice – pay the bill or we keep your vehicle hostage. And that’s where it stands. I write this letter, as my vehicle sits in the cold, unrepaired, and $1,600 in the hole. But this isn’t the first time Tim Lally has treated customers this way. Three months ago I brought my truck in because the wheels were shaking. Just 15 days before I brought it in, I had the brake pads replaced by another mechanic. Yet, Tim Lally called to say that I needed an entire brake job, pads and all. Just to be sure, I snuck back into the garage, crawled under the truck, and to no surprise the pads I had replace 15 days prior still had bar code on them. To no surprise, I would not recommend Tim Lally. I’m told that in situations like these, there are consumer protection laws that allow for complete recovery. I’m not sure on the laws, but I’m also told that customers can actually get up to triple damages if certain guidelines are not followed by mechanics. In any event, my vehicle sits at Tim Lally as I write this complaint. My face is still soaked from the wet breath of Mark Rigby yelling in my face. And Tim Lally has a brand new facility that they need to pay for – bilking consumers to cover the bill. More

We wanted to take advantage of the dealer rebates available on the Chevy Sonic LTZ I was interested in, but the rebate time was expiring while my husband and I both had to work. The dealership extended the rebate time allowance for us and Brenda stayed 2 hours late to help us finish the sale. The finance department got us a great loan rate. We ended up trading in 2 cars and the dealership gave us a good value on both. More
