I have purchased two used vehicles from Tim Dahley and one new one in the past 3 years. Josh Edson has been my salesman on the last two. He has been a great help in purchasing the vehicles and I know one new one in the past 3 years. Josh Edson has been my salesman on the last two. He has been a great help in purchasing the vehicles and I know I have gotten his full attention and a great deal on the vans. He is the best salesperson I have dealt with purchasing vehicles in the last 20+ years. More

I first went on the web and looked at several cars. I had three dealers I was dealing with, when it came down to it Robert was the only one that would answer me back. He contacted me every time I asked had three dealers I was dealing with, when it came down to it Robert was the only one that would answer me back. He contacted me every time I asked him a question and when I finally decided on him he was great to explain everything to me. I hate going into a dealer and going thru the hassle of price so Robert and I was able to work out all the things I needed before coming down and test driving the car. I think the internet is the first way to stop all the hassle of going back and forth on different things. I would recommend Tim Dahle and Robert is the only Sales person in my book that I would recommend. He is a keeper. More
Bought a used truck "as is". Tried to get it inspected and emission tested, wouldn't pass because it was illegal...funny that it passed when we bought it there. It is illegal to sell a vehicle t inspected and emission tested, wouldn't pass because it was illegal...funny that it passed when we bought it there. It is illegal to sell a vehicle that hasn't legally passed both. The wheels and tires were illegal (we found that out when we went to buy new tires) as was the catalytic converter...since it WASN'T EVEN ON THERE!!! Really considering calling the EPA...they don't like that sort of thing. I get that when you buy something "as is" you are taking a risk, but the charges for emission testing and inspection were added to the price of the truck, so you would assume that everything was legal. SO MUCH FOR THAT! More
We purchased a used Toyota Highlander from Tim Dahle Nissan and had a very good experience. Robert Hart did an excellent job for us. He was friendly and made sure that we were aware of a price drop on Nissan and had a very good experience. Robert Hart did an excellent job for us. He was friendly and made sure that we were aware of a price drop on the car we were looking at as soon as it dropped. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and knowledgeable, but Robert was the person who made this experience a pleasure. More

A few years ago, I had the unfortunate experience of being treated about as bad in my opinion by a sales associate at this dealership, as a consumer could be. I swore I would never deal with any busines being treated about as bad in my opinion by a sales associate at this dealership, as a consumer could be. I swore I would never deal with any business that bore this dealers name ever again, and would do everything I could, to ensure no one would ever be treated like this, by this dealership again. I recently received a letter in the mail from Mr. Josh Edson, an internet manager at this dealership. I chose to correspond with him in order to bring to light how bad a consumer could be treated. Josh has been incredible to associate with. He is going out of his way to right the wrong I experienced, although he had no role in it at all. I had been thinking about getting into another newer Nissan vehicle. I have been in communication with Josh, and as I said, he is bending over backwards to help me, and get me into the vehicle of my choice in any way he can. Tim Dahle is fortunate to have Josh on their team! He truly is an example of a people person, he cares about his customers on a personal, and professional level, and I am proud to say that I am again a Tim Dahle customer, and will go out of my way when the opportunity presents itself, to inform others, when considering a vehicle purchase, look no further then Tim Dahle Nissan, and personally request Josh to get you what you want, for the price you want, with caring and utmost honest efforts. If you are looking at this site, you're probably looking for some factual, specific information about the dealership and this particular salesperson. So, I'd like to offer some details about my experience b for some factual, specific information about the dealership and this particular salesperson. So, I'd like to offer some details about my experience buying a Nissan Murano from Josh Edson. While most website reviews are simple generalizations at one extreme or the other...they are either glowing (unrealistically positive) or burning (astoundingly negative)...relatively few reviews offer some real facts that might help someone decide what to buy and from whom to buy it. "Giving some facts about my experience" was my motivation in taking the time to write this review. My experience with Josh started out small (I asked for info by email) but by the time I was driving off the lot one snowy Saturday evening last January, Josh had invested a great deal of time in me. I am a (very) picky buyer....I've owned a lot of cars (15) over the years from most major makes. This time, I was looking for the standard things: a car that offered the features I want that was also reliable and refined. My most important desire was for a good dealer experience because I’ve learned over 25 years that buying a car is just the beginning...it’s the after-the-sale experience that really separates the middle-range brands from the luxury brands. I explained all this to Josh both in person and by spamming him with email after email. Josh kept surprising me and impressing me. He answered all my questions, listened to everything I said/wrote to him, did things on my schedule (not his), and basically offered me the chance to evaluate the Murano in detail. He did not jump instantly to the question I know he has to ask (would you like to buy a car today?). He gave me what I asked for--enough time to look over the whole range of Muranos (and other Nissans) carefully. He also let me drive more than one car for an extended test, both alone and later with my family. I’ve never had such an accommodating before-the-sale experience. That alone was enough to keep me coming back to Tim Dahle in Murray for the 3-week’s time that it took me to make up my mind. I explained my reasons to Josh for shopping for a car in the dead of winter and told him about the other vehicles I was also evaluating. I was impressed that Josh immediately understood my goals and he accepted/supported them completely. He also showed me that he really knows all about the cars he's selling and he knows their competition. Josh never said "Ah, I don't know the answer to that question" nor did he ever bad-mouth other brands and models. I've owned some of "the best" brands and so I know that spending lots more money doesn't necessarily mean you get more quality, value, or reliability. I was looking at Nissan (and Infiniti) because I've owned other Nissans in the past (Maximas 20 and 15 years ago and now an Altima coupe that is almost 5 years old). I knew why I was evaluating Nissan, so when I explained my thinking to Josh he immediately supported my rather close scrutiny of the whole Murano line. I started out looking at the middle trim (SV). Josh and I went for a test drive and I was impressed. I wasn't sure that I really wanted a higher trim (SL or LE), but Josh wisely offered us a test drive in an SL one Friday evening. We took that car for a 5-mile run and I was even more impressed. The extra money for the SL was actually well justified. The demo vehicle had the navigation package which I wasn't considering buying because I've had older models with one so I had a prejudice (I thought the technology just wasn't that good yet---that my cell phone is all the GPS I need). Well, to shorten this long story a bit, I can report that Josh and I started working the numbers together on both an SV and an SL. I'd done my homework (and so had he) so I knew roughly what a reasonable sales price would be. I told Josh about all my research. Rather than flinching or fussing or falling apart (as I've seen other salespersons do at this point), Josh calmly asked me to "bring my paperwork and we'll talk things over." Well, we did meet and we did talk. I asked even more questions and for more time to decide. Josh responded just as he had always done....he was calm, friendly, and as professional about discussing the pricing part of a deal as I've ever seen done in all my years of buying cars. When I first met him, I had told Josh that a major factor in my decision would be the sales experience (I like to be honest from the get-go and ask for what I want rather than complain when I don’t get it). I was also frank about being concerned about the quality of the after-the-sale experience at this dealership. We talked openly about some issues we'd had over the past 4 years with service on our 2008 Nissan Altima coupe. Rather than being defensive or trying a denial approach, Josh calmly explained the steps that had been taken recently by Mr. Dahle to improve customer service at his dealerships. Most importantly, Josh assured me that he'd be around (he's worked at the same place for 18 years) and that if I needed any help with anything to let him know. Well, by this time my confidence in Josh was washing over right onto the top of the dealership (i.e., a halo effect was occurring) such that I decided to take a chance on buying a $44,000 car from Nissan rather than a rather similar (but more costly and thus a poorer value) car from the BMW dealer just across the street. I'm glad I did. And, each time I've stopped in to the Murray location since buying the 2012 LE Platinum (yeah, I did get the top model with the navigation package after all plus a tow hitch which the dealer installed), Josh has been there smiling and offering me the same friendly, solid experience that he has always done. You know, I've wondered more than once if the folks who manage/own this dealership know what an asset they have in Josh Edson. I imagine that they do because in my estimation, this man could work anywhere, selling any make of car, and be very successful. Josh always says what he means and he always makes good on his promises. In today's business climate, those are rare attributes indeed. More
I bought a new Sentra from Josh Edson and it was a relief to deal with someone who has been in the business for a while and at the same store for 15+ years at least I have a good chance he will be there when to deal with someone who has been in the business for a while and at the same store for 15+ years at least I have a good chance he will be there when I go back, he took great care to take the time to make sure I got the car and deal I wanted! He is very professional and personable. No going to the wizard hiding in the back to get me the deal, just been through too many bad experiences with bad salespeople and managers that just don't know what they are doing because they can't stay at a place for more than a couple of weeks?? I highly recommend seeing Josh and cutting out all the bull (*&*$ you will get other wise. More
