I'm writing this review because I'd like to tell people about our great experiences with Josh Edson at Tim Dahle Nissan in Murray Utah. If you're in the market for a new Nissan, or even a used car, you really owe it to yourself to go to this dealership and ask for Josh. I imagine that this review might already sound like a bit too much hype to be true. But the truth is, Josh is so good and so different from virtually every other car salesman I've ever worked over 39 years that I really think more people should know about this extraordinary salesman. Here's the simplest way I can put my feelings about Josh into words--he has the right attitude, the right skills, the right knowledge, and most importantly, the right integrity. Working with Josh is easy because he is helpful and present but never pushy, he knows the facts about the products he's selling as well as the business, and if he says that he'll do something he does it without question. I can say these things with assurance because my family and I have bought 4 cars from Josh over the past 6 years. I can't tell you how much peace of mind Josh has brought to me and my family. Based on all my years of experience with Josh, I know that if I ever need anything car-related (new or used purchase, mechanical service or cosmetic repair), making a call or sending a text or an email to Josh will be the start of a resolution to my concerns. I will mention that I've owned 18 cars from 10 different makes over 29 years. I've owned the so-called "premium" brands as well as most of the "mainstream" brands from the USA, Germany, and Japan. All those purchases have given me experience with all sorts of salespeople and all sorts of after-the-sale experiences. I now feel that the biggest differences between brands in today's market are more related to the dealership experiences than to the vehicles themselves. Most modern brands are built pretty much the same way using very similar materials, design, and workmanship. But, because not all people are the same (and never will be), what has mattered most to me in buying a car is how I'm treated both before and after the sale. The advise I'd like to offer to anyone reading this review is simply that in my opinion, Josh Edson offers a genuine "premium experience" to the Tim Dahle dealership on State Street in Murray, Utah. We were ramrodded into a car that had front end problems. One tire was worn down more than the other tire in the front. I did'nt notice this untill we bought the car. We were told that this was just rust on the rotors but i knew it was worse tham that. We were also told that they would come down on the price to get us down to a $200.00 payment instead of lowering the price they added more months to the payment. We did'nt know this untill it was to late and we had signed the papers. We took the car back within 2 days and handed them the keys. They said that we could'nt bring it back and if we did they would ruin our good credit. And send a collection agency after us. They said they would trade us for another car with more miles that did'nt have any problems. We ended up paying more than the car was worth. We are now upside down in a car with 64000, miles on it. I was told that in utah you can take any car back and get a full refund within 3 days. Is this not true? If so we were lied to by Tim Dahle of Murray. Stay away. Stay away. from this Dealership. I was getting ready to turn in my lease and was not sure I was going to stay with Nissan as I was looking for the best car for the best price for me. Robert was fantastic!
