Not professional, do no buy from them online Buying Online? Don't. Alright during the age of coronavirus, my wife is sick at home I still wanted to buy a news truck, found out that Tim Dahle h Buying Online? Don't. Alright during the age of coronavirus, my wife is sick at home I still wanted to buy a news truck, found out that Tim Dahle had 2 '20 nissan titan Pro4x and 2 Nissan titan platinum reserve. I was interested in either and was ready to pay cash, but I could not leave for fear of infecting others or getting my wife sicker. Reached out on a wednesday via the website and started working with Hayden, he said he would get with me thursday. Thursday about noon no one had called me. I called the dealership and got connected with Sergio (if you get him as your sales guy ask for anyone else). Sergio said he would go to bat for me and get pricing on the pro4x and platinum reserve, he said he had both of them on the lot and ready. After seeing pricing (pricing was good about $200 cheaper than Stephen Wade in Saint George would offer I decided to do a virtual walk through of both of them. Sergio Said friday he would do a virtual walk through of both the Pro4x and Platinum reserve for me. Friday by noon once again no one had contacted me. I texted Sergio and he told me not to call into the office anymore because then he would have to split the commission with others? I said that is fine but when can we do the facetime walk through? He responded with "Wait you are not coming up?" I reminded him that my wife was sick and so we wanted to do it virtually. He said "thats right I remember now!" then told me that unfortunately he did not have the pro 4x but I could see the Platinum reserve if I wanted. So I said lets do it. He then facetime audio called me four times, I called him back using facetime video and got to look at his neck and ear for a while before he figured out it was a video. Then he started showing me the truck, it looked great, Sergio handed the phone off to his colleagues who explained how the seats worked and showed me the interior, they both talked about how new and beautiful the truck was, The both commented on how it was brand new and was barely drove. As it was a 2020 I expected this much. I said lets do it at 2pm on friday and confirmed I would pay for the truck. Nothing happened. Sergio said he would call me when he had the financial guy ready to go. Then he said he was trying to figure out how to get docusign to work then he was working out how to get the documents scanned to me... Basically just a lot of delaying, finally at 8pm on friday he told me I would have to drive up from Saint George and sign the paperwork. I reminded him once again that my wife was sick and as such I should not leave the house or take her up that far, I had arranged for a friend to drive the truck down to me after the deal was complete. Sergio then once again said "Oh you are right I forgot, I will figure out how to get this done over email and phone". I have no idea what Sergio did from 2pm till 8pm, but apparently nothing related to this sale. At 9 he texted and said his finance manager would call me first thing Saturday morning to do the sale over the phone. Saturday by noon no one had called me then finally the first competent person at Tim Dahle came into the picture, John Creager. John laughed it off that it took so long, and explained that it is no problem to do this over the phone then email the docs to me to sign and return to him, we went over all of the financial information, we discussed and confirmed the pricing then he emailed me the documents. I called Sergio and asked him to be sure to put a printed copy of all the paperwork, the window sticker, second set of keys and titan brochure in the truck. I reviewed and signed them at home and realized the odometer disclosure had 940 miles on it. What kind of 2020 brand new $60,000 truck has bit less than 1k miles on it? I signed and returned the documents but was upset about the milage, I called Sergio to ask about the milage and he said it was a typo and there were only 94 miles on it. I said ok well lets get a new odometer disclosure. The he called me back and said "Ean, you are in luck Tim Dahle himself was driving this truck and that is why there are so many miles on it, we were using it as a demo truck, isn't that cool?" NOOOO SERGIO that is not cool, you told me it was a new truck barely been driven was all you talked about. It also does not make me excited that Tim Dahle himself sat in the truck? Why would that make the truck better? I called my insurance (american family) to add the truck and when I gave them the milage, they said I was not eligible for new car year replacement (a cool supplemental policy) because the truck had more than 500miles and as such they did not consider it brand new. I called the dealership to discuss this point and spoke to a Josh who said he was a manager and would figure out how to make this right because he could tell I was upset. It seems normal that I would want great top notch protection on a brand new expensive truck. Josh never answered my calls again, finally Sergio told me I had three options: 1- They would make a new odometer disclosure statement that showed a odometer at under 500 miles for my insurance 2- I could just keep the truck and deal with it 3- to return the truck and they would happily cancel the deal. I was in shock, how could they just make a new odometer statement then expect me to give a false number to my insurance (insurance fraud is a felony) or I could keep the truck and just deal with it, or return the truck and they would return the money. I asked for $1000 for my annoyance and they said no way. They would not extend any help or anything and my payment was already in so it was on me to break my word and signatures or not. I decided to keep the truck as it was already en route to saint george. When the truck arrived the documents I asked Sergio to put in the truck were not there, and Sergio told my friend he would mail me the keys. It has been two weeks now and I have no keys, Sergio no longer answers my calls or texts, and I found out today that my sirius XM subscription (1 year with all new vehicle purchases) expires in July this year, which means it was activated July of last year by Tim Dahle I guess? So yes I bought the truck virtually and did all the paperwork online, and yes the truck is great. But is the judge of a dealership really their ability to take money and provide a truck that is on the lot? I would not recommend Tim Dahle or his dealership, I have never met him but he put 940 miles on a brand new truck then had his team deceive me to believe it was brand new. More
