Buying a car from this dealership was even more terrible than every stereotype about car dealerships, and then in the 9 months since, I have had four problems that I have had to fight tooth and nail to get than every stereotype about car dealerships, and then in the 9 months since, I have had four problems that I have had to fight tooth and nail to get resolved. Ultimately they HAVE resolved all of my issues except little one, so if you fight hard enough, they will hold up their end of the deal - you just have to fight for nine months for things that should have been resolved before the car was even sold. I really wish I would have read all the one-star BBB reviews before I went to this dealership in the first place. One of their employees, Rich, talked down to me and patronized me enough that the buying experience was worse than any stereotype about sleazy car salesmen. The rest of the employees have been fairly kind, but it still took four months and over ten phone calls to get them to order a PART to repair my car. You'd think that if you paid the extra money to buy a car from a reputable dealership with a name like Tim Dahle, that you would actually receive service at least approaching the national average. Instead, I feel like I bought my car from some creepy old guy on Craigslist who has tried to swindle me and apparently doesn't feel like he owes me anything. Dealing with these people is a nightmare. They make tons of mistakes, and then instead of just resolving them quickly like a normal customer service business, they either fail to resolve it on their second chance or they tell you they'll fix it and just never call back. In the 9 months I've owned my car, they told me a repaired chip wouldn't cause any problems (which a day later cracked the whole windshield), that the tires were inspected to their standard (which 2 months later were so severely threaded and in such poor condition that the service department literally told me they were worried about driving home), that the car had a bumper-to-bumper warranty (that apparently expired before I even bought the car), that they would order a part for a gas door (which took four months for them to actually do), and that they had repaired my electronic keys (even though I had to bring them in a second time and they still don't work). A customer shouldn't have to come back a second, third, fourth or tenth time to have an issue actually get resolved. This dealership seems to hope that customers will just give up asking for the service that buying from a dealership should entitle one to instead of proactively fixing any issues without being prompted by multiple complaints. I know they have been working to resolve some of these issues and no longer have certain employees working there who have caused big problems, but I've had so many problems with this dealership, it's clear they need to make some systemic changes to even provide subpar service.
