Were some of the best buying experiences we have ever had. Now on to the absolute worse. Sent my wife into look at a 2021 marron Armada as it was showing on line in SouthTowne store for 71,910. She was told to come in and test drive it. When she did, she was told it was at Murray location and it was being used as a demo car. Also that they wouldn't transfer car to Southtowne location. OK, went to Murray location, (30 more minutes out of my way) Sales Manger has gone home in vehicle nd would have to come back next day. OK, back home and bac again next day. Letter we received from Southtowne will not work at Murray location for trade deal, plus cost of vehicle is now 76,000 even though Internet says 71,910 (at Murray too) because they are short on these and they can raise price. (that is what James K Sales Manager said) Well, they ended up coming down on sales price to original MSRP sticker price but then lower the cost of our trade value the same amount. Additional, vehicle has over 2800 miles on it (Demo car) spilled what looks like chili on back carpet, and many dings and dents. They said they will fix it all, but vehicle is still new so price is price. I said ok, no deal. In addition, tried sales tactics, like I know if it was my wife, $36 more dollars a month for a happy wife is nothing. James K called me today, basically said with our credit and the deal they have for us, we can't go anywhere else and we will be back and they won't budge. In additional to all this, he won't show us breakdown on interest cost, trade value, and new vehicle....only will give us monthly payment. Never again will I buy from Tim Dahle, thanks to Mr. James K. Way to arrogant and pompous. To many other dealers out there that want business. Specially when your spending 71K on a vehicle. More
Very frustrated with our service rep. It would take 2 days to return calls. Got quicker results calling and talking with different service reps. Quoted me a different price for a key to be made and programmed (around $200). My son took the car in and they thought they would take advantage of him being 16, so they finished the key and it was $40 programmed (around $200). They didn’t quote him the price up front, just gave him sticker shock when finished. The previous day for my vehicle, they had lost my coolant cap and left my engine hood unsecured. I realized this on the freeway at top speeds as my hood was moving up and down. However, they did call me to tell me my fix was $850. So why didn’t they do that with the key the next day? Dishonesty and shoddy service. More
