I went back to finalize my lease buy out today and mostly the process was easy to go through (just long). When it finally came time to be done, I wanted to find out where my car was since they took it for end of lease inspection (and ask them to add air to the tire that was registering low psi). When the finance team (who were probably my most positive experience with Tim Dahle overall) politely asked Josh to stop by to answer my question he too loudly on the phone said (loud enough I could hear him unfortunately) “I don’t get anything for these lease conversions. I am busy at the moment”. So all in all a better experience this time, but most of the time I am not sure they know what customer service means without a dollar sign attached which is unfortunate. I get that these things are not exciting (for me either) but it needs to be done so if you don’t want to help then don’t take the appt. I was transparent from the beginning that my intent took was to buy out my lease.
