I purchased a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder SL from Tim Dahle Nissan Bountiful on July 31, 2024. The purchase price was what I was hoping for. I found the vehicle listed on their website. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by Nate of the sales staff. I told him about the Pathfinder I was interested in. He wasn’t sure it was still available. He suggested we take test drive in a comparable vehicle which we did. As we returned I saw the vehicle that I wanted in the parking lot. After waiting a few minutes while he checked on the availability, Nate returned and was happy to report it was available for purchase. We then met the Mario to finalize the purchase price. We were able to reach an agreement. I then met with the finance manager. The only surprise was an added charge for a flashlng brake light which is designed to reduce the probability of a rear end collision. To help off set the expense I was given two years of free oil changes. We reached an agreement which I felt was fair. I am very pleased with the Pathfinder, it is ideal for our family’s needs. I felt that Nate, Mario, and the finance manager treated me fairly. I did not feel pressured. They were professional and cordial in every respect. Also, I appreciated the opportunity to be introduced to Ryan Solt, the sales manager. I could tell immediately that he cared about me as a customer. He is an example of the kinds of managers that Nissan would want representing their brand. Since my purchase in July I have also been able to meet Cardon Malan and Grin Pearce. I was again impressed by how they made me feel as a valued customer. In conclusion, I highly recommend Tim Dahle Nissan of Bountiful. Interact with them as you would a friend. You will be pleased with result. More
Bought a car here this evening and had an excellent visit, especially with Kaleb and Grin. They worked really hard to meet us where we needed to be and were very pleasant! I really had a very and upset time with Sam at Tim darle nissan at north salt lake he was a lier he didn't complete the job in my car just to get the job side he didn't refer me where they was going to fix nissan at north salt lake he was a lier he didn't complete the job in my car just to get the job side he didn't refer me where they was going to fix my car and plus that I have to stop working for two days those guys are so inprofesional and his manager back him up in everything that's why this country is like the way it is because beople like Sam and his manager I will not recommend that nissan at north salt lake at all and I considerate a loyalty customer but I really had a very bad experience More
Zero stars would have been better. Hidden fees everywhere. Biggest issue: Dishonesty, and grossly negligent miscommunication. The sticker price was 24k. They then add an 1,800 fee to "inspect" the car they're selling you. THEN when I was negotiating and "OUT THE DOOR PRICE" they changed all the documentation to be a "Financed Price", beyond a $1,000 down payment... So basically they just added 1k to what I negotiated under my assumption that it was an "OUT THE DOOR PRICE" and never mentioned it to me. Yes I should have caught it in the fine print when I was talking to finance guy, but I thought the negotiation phase was over. To sum up... I'm out $1,000 dollars I wasn't planning to spend. Other issue: Then they used rubber glue on a tire gouge I noticed before signing anything, and it took me a week and many arguments to get them to cover the cost of a new tire, because that one was completely unwarrantable. They said their techs said it was fine. When I asked to take it to a tire shop they changed their tune. What did they use my 1800 bucks to correct in the inspection? Yet another issue: They promised me a tesla mobile charger and gave me a generic brand version, which does work, but is only 16 amps rather than 30-40 amps so it's a much slower charge. I did not fight this, because I'm so tired of this place. Wish that was all but...Another Issue: After waiting 45 minutes to pick up the vehicle after they told me it was done being detailed, they delivered me a very sandy vehicle with a broken interior side panel. The assistant salesman saw it and took it back in to get corrected, but the shop folks had just left for the day. I vacuumed it myself at quick quack, and will have to pay tesla 100 bucks to fix the panel. (they did try one more time to fix the panel, but it was unsuccessful) To summarize. Just don't go here. I think their good reviews are probably from folks who don't look at things as closely as I do, and are happily driving around with damaged tires and deceptively larger loans than they deserve. More
Went in for an older car due to the low price. I worked with Levi, he was so nice and considerate through the whole process.
