Thurston Honda

Drove on my one day a week off from Lower Lake, explained that the alarm kept going off intermittently and I had to hook or unhook the battery each time I got in or out, so the cable was a little loose makin that the alarm kept going off intermittently and I had to hook or unhook the battery each time I got in or out, so the cable was a little loose making it easier for me to deal with. They could not find any problems with the alarm. But they did reset all the codes and tighten the battery cable. They shut it off and waited 10 minutes to see if the alarm went off. It did not. It did start going off 5 minutes after arriving back home. I will not be bringing my car back to them. Total waste of time, gas and my day off. They did not seem to know what they were doing the first time! Not going try them again! More

Tracey Thurston himself set up a very good experience and introduced us to John Daniels who took us through the necessary paperwork as painlessly as possible and with no surprises. Then Juan Sandoval went through every aspect of how the CRV worked and all it's features and set up the initial electronic preferences to our liking (he did an extremely thorough job and displayed an intimate understanding of the vehicle we were purchasing). Overall, the experience was a breath of fresh air after a number of false starts and failed promises at other Honda dealerships. They have always been friendly, efficient and reasonable for the service work I have had performed. They're new dealership is quite impressive. It is comfortable and has a friendly waiting area and shuttle service. They have both a quick service for routine oil and filter changes as well as a full service department. I live in Fort Bragg, so they have always tried to ensure my wait was as short as possible. They also wash the car after servicing which I think is a great touch! I have moved into the Acura line now, but just felt compelled to share my experience with Thurston. Honda's are a great product and the Thurston Dealership represents them well. More
